About this show

A half-hour comedy series about Ted and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted's best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he's going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realizes that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest to find his future wife is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he's sure it's love at first sight, but after a whirlwind romance with her, he realizes destiny has something else in store for him. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future.

Ok I'm going to start by saying I do absolutely love this show. That's why it does have the five star rating. I do however wish I had a way to rate Google play. It would get a one. This is because of the rampant tardiness of this show, and I assume others . Both amazon and iTunes have the newest episode, and have had it. But Google still is lagging behind. I made a choice to purchase the season pass with Google. But with the apparent inability to post the shows I'm wishing I hadn't.

I absolutely fell in love with this series. Started watching it early 2014 on Netflix and finished it at New Years. I had no idea this show would make my new years such a special one, this ending was extremely satisfying and the whole show is just a thrill ride. It makes you smile, laugh, cry, giggle and have moments of rememberence afterwards. I still can't believe it's already over have regret having binge sessions and should've slowly appreciated the series. I promise you won't regret watching this.

The last season is half way done and it feels like it is using stall tactics because they are out of ideas. The plot has not progressed in more than 10 episodes this last season. As a series I think the show has the potential to be one of the best sitcoms of its era and this ending is embarrassing the legacy. Without spoiling, there is a weekend long event that opens the last season, and the whole last season is just about that weekend so far. 12 episodes nothing happened yet.
