Replace Will Smith in the plot of I, Robot with a British family and make the robots into synthetic humans, you get Humans. Interesting and does bring up a lot of question about AI, the place of humans in a world where robots can do everything better and for no cost at all. Brushing up on the Singularity while always skirting around. Not as good as Black Mirrors but very solid serie none the less.

The story is very interesting, but rather far from the "suspenseful" we read in some comments. If the acting is generally good, it is by moments hesitant and unconvincing, and this is probably due to too many scenes that are borderline cheezy in the most negative meaning of the word. It is not, however, without merit as to the subject of future relations between humans playing god and their products, the robots.
