I'm Alan Partridge

Alan gets a chance to put his new programme ideas to BBC Chief Commissioning Editor Tony Hayers. With concepts like Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank, A Partridge Among the Pigeons, and Monkey Tennis, surely a new deal will be on the table. But first he has to deal with some offensive graffiti adorning his car.

It's Valentine's Day and Alan enjoys a romantic date at an owl sanctuary with the receptionist from the now defunct Peartree Productions. Passions are aroused and Alan is keen to gauge her opinion on the pedestrianisation of Norwich town centre, before some hot, sticky moments ensue.

Alan gets into deep water when he presents a promotional video for a boating company. Has his PA Lynn got what it takes to be an on-air Mrs Partridge? And there are some very angry farmers around following Alan's ill-advised comments about infected cattle feed on his radio show.

To while away the hours at the Linton Travel Tavern, Alan gets to grips with the workings of a Corby trouser press. His attempt to entertain the staff by dressing up as a zombie backfires badly and he finds himself in trouble with the law after setting out to steal a traffic cone.

Alan is hopeful when some Irish TV executives attend An Afternoon with Alan Partridge he is hosting at the Travel Tavern. But will the attentions of Jed, his number one fan, jeopordise his plans for a new series?

Following a miserable afternoon judging the Swaffham Country Show, Alan receives an unexpected telephone call to tell him that BBC Commissioning Editor Tony Hayers is dead. Tony will be replaced by an old friend of Alan's, and he can barely hide his delight. Could it finally be time to bid farewell to the Linton Travel Tavern?
