About this show

Fifteen years ago, the private jet carrying the billionaire Rand family mysteriously crashed in the Himalayas. Nearly twenty years later, Danny Rand, the lone survivor of the crash, returns to New York City as the Immortal Iron Fist. Danny quickly discovers that life in New York City can be as contentious as the monastery where he spent the last 20 years. Marvel's Iron Fist follows Danny Rand's journey as the Iron Fist in New York City.

I'm not Jesse, I am his mom, a housewife, volunteer and my family is everything. However, OMG this is the best superhero show ever!!! Ordinary people with pasts that of course screw up their present and leave their futures hard to see. The Main Exception -- Whether you call it super powers, gifts, or just plain hard work they all want to help their communities. This show has something for EVERY member of a family. I do enjoy the others as well, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Misty, Claire, Joy and Ward ( I think Ward has a lot of potential). Cannot wait for more please don't make us wait a year.Yours Truly; Jesse's Mom

Started out so great...but then collapsed hard. Had Danny Rand walking around like a addle minded 60s Kung fu hippie dropped into current modern times 2017. Then he always spouts off like a dope "I'm the Iron Fist.." as if people are supposed to know and understand the significance of what that is and what it means LOL! Even worse the writers have his winning the privilege and responsibilities of being the Iron Fist as a flippant petty response to get back at others in K'un L'un.

Sigh. As a trained martial artist, this is... painful to watch. The main actor looks like a marionette with strings all twisted. Did they not give him any coaching or training??? Plus, as the 1st season goes on, his acting seems to get worse...basically every scene is a predictable "how spoiled and innocent can he act to make a bad decision that gets everyone in trouble." Such a drop in quality since Daredevil. They should have focused on Colleen Wing...that actress can at least pretend to know how to move (or might even be actually trained?).
