"It Takes a Sister" invites viewers to meet the one-of-a-kind, modern family of reality star Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander. Nikki lives in a house with her four younger sisters, her eight nieces and nephews, three dogs, and her personal assistant – who happens to be one of her sister’s exes. The family’s recent move to a ranch in Knoxville, Tennessee means that these city girls must learn to adapt to life in the Deep South. As the “Mama Bear” of the family, it’s Nikki’s job to keep the hectic household running smoothly and everyone’s egos in check. Living under the same roof can create plenty of drama for this close-knit family, but their strong sisterly bonds will never be broken.
