Jane by Design

When an absentminded assistant accidently mixes up her file, Jane, thinking she has applied for an intern position, accidently applies for, and is hired to be, the assistant to a demanding fashion executive. Jane accepts the job, which forces her to conceal her identity as a high-school student from her new co-workers. Meanwhile, Jane has no idea that her best friend is sleeping with her high-school rival. 2012 ABC Family

After surviving her first week as assistant to Gray, Jane tries to balance the demands of high school and her job. But after she agrees to go the high school dance with Billy, Gray tells her she must create a preview line of what's to come at a preview party — the same night as the dance. Meanwhile, Billy finally puts an end to the secret romantic meetings he has been having with Lulu after Nick discovers them kissing. Nick agrees not to tell anyone what he saw if Billy will convince Jane to talk to him. 2012 ABC Family

Jane must prepare and host a Trunk Show at Gray's apartment as well as study for a tough test to maintain her chances of being class valedictorian, something she is in tie for with Lulu. Lulu and Billy realise they miss each other and Lulu tells Billy she wants to be with him and doesn't care who knows. Despite the Trunk Show's success, even though India tries to ruin it, Gray is unhappy with Jane because she did not break up with Brad for her as Gray instructed. Ben starts work at Jane's school as the new assistant baseball coach. 2012 ABC Family

Jane is furious at Billy after he tells her about his relationship with Lulu and ignores his efforts to explain his situation. Everyone at Donovan Decker nervously awaits the visit of Modern Empress magazine's tough editor in chief Miyoko Sato in hopes of getting Jeremy's dress design on the cover. Despite an awkward dinner with Miyoko and Jeremy, Jane's naivete and openness impress Miyoko. 2012 ABC Family

When Gray gives Jane the coveted, highly-secure "Lookbook" to deliver to her in Paris, Jane loses it unexpectedly, and scurries to retrace her steps and figure out where she lost it. 2012 ABC Family

When Jane is given an assignment to give a presentation on the style of young people ages eighteen and under, Gray has no idea just how appropriate Jane is for that task. But when India investigates a little too thoroughly into how Jane has gathered information for her presentation, Jane has to somehow hide the fact that she is actually someone who is eighteen and under. 2012 ABC Family

Jane is put in charge of keeping an eye on Piper Grace, a celebrity teen model hired to do a photo shoot for Donovan Decker. However Jane soon realises that Piper lacks the types of boundaries enforced on typical teenagers, and she must find a way to keep her under control. 2012 ABC Family

When Donovan Decker is chosen to design a major celebrity's wedding dress, the pressure is on when she hates their first design. Now they must come up with a stunning dress before she goes to another designer. Meanwhile, at Jane's request, Billy and Nick get to know one another. 2012 ABC Family

Jane is excited to spend the weekend camping with her classmates, namely Nick. But when she finds out she's going to have to travel to Beverly Hills to help India pick out a location for the new Donovan Decker store, she's devastated she will miss it. Meanwhile, on the camping trip, Billy and Lulu attempt to forgive and forget after Lulu abandoned Billy at Nick's party, but Lulu finds it hard to get past the fact that Billy and Jane are so close. And even though he despises the outdoors and everything associated with camping, Ben agrees to chaperone the trip in order to spend time with Rita. 2012 ABC Family

When Ben finds out about Jane's job and that she's been lying to him for months, he is not happy. After Ben forbids Jane to continue to work for Donovan Decker, Jane finds herself torn between lying to Ben once again, and giving up her dream job. Billy must appear in court after Tommy gets him in trouble with the law, and it doesn't work in his favour that his Judge is Lulu's father. Meanwhile, Gray realises there is someone working for her that has been secretly relaying information about Donovan Decker's designs to Beau Bronn. 2012 ABC Family

Jane thinks she's up for a big promotion but while weighing the implications that would bring, she's also forced to deal with a tense relationship with best friend, Billy, who just got back from a youth detention facility. 2012 ABC Family

India has returned to work on an exclusive collection, while Jane hangs out with the new face of the collection, which puts a strain on her relationship with Billy. 2012 ABC Family
