1 The Letters of Septimus Noone
2/28/14
Season-only
When a glamorous West End star is found stabbed inside a locked dressing room, her colleagues remain baffled. Attention turns to Jonathan Creek for a solution to the grisly puzzle. But can Creek be persuaded to join the investigation? As he and his wife struggle to come to terms with a personal tragedy, a series of disturbing family secrets are revealed that will throw the couple's world into turmoil.
2 The Sinner and the Sandman
3/7/14
Season-only
As Creek and Polly settle into rural life they find their apparently serene village is riddled with strange undercurrents. A sordid sex scandal breaks in the community centre, and at the vicarage tales of a 'weird hump-backed beast' seen prowling at night are rife. Creek, meanwhile, finds himself visiting the eccentric Mr Ipswich - a.k.a. 'The Amazing Astrodamus' - a reclusive psychic who brings the village to a standstill with the most baffling act of clairvoyance in history.
3 The Curse of the Bronze Lamp
3/14/14
Season-only
The first signs of conjugal friction begin to appear for the Creeks, when a glamorous woman from the past re-appears. In parallel, the couple's new cleaner details her plans to see a male escort behind her husband's back. But when her evening takes a tragic turn they are called to help, and so begins a bizarre spiral of events involving mistaken identity, the disposal of a dead body, and a miraculous act of teleportation.

About this show

A shaggy, reticent deviser of magic stunts and a pushy crime journalist team up for a popular murder mystery series with a difference. The hottest partnership since Mulder and Scully, Jonathan Creek and Maddy Magellan investigate crimes which baffle the police and seem to have no rational explanation. But Creek, who works as a creative consultant to a stage magician, often finds that the answer lies in illusion. A BAFTA-winning series by David Renwick, starring Alan Davies, Caroline Quentin, and later Julia Sawalha as Carla Borrego and Sheridan Smith as Joey Ross.
