Since its mining days, Harlan County, Kentucky has seen its fair share of corruption, moonshining, and murder. Those coal mining days may be over, but the depressed county is facing a new crime wave—a growing prescription drug problem. Sheriff Marvin L. Lifird has spent the last six years building a team of highly skilled deputies to sweep the drug-ridden streets. These men are trained to do whatever it takes, no matter the person at large, in the battle to save their beloved Harlan County.
