Trippy, psychedelic, challenging, funny. This is no CW show fluff piece or a b y the numbers action/drama like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This needs you to pay attention as you marvel at the set designs and masterfully directed/edited scenes. It's ok to at first be confused, our main protagonist is confused. We share in his confusion and we try and figure out what is happening to his mind and his life. Fans of Fargo and Hannibal will like this. I loved it and I hope the story they are trying to tell is completely told.

It's Marvel so it seemed worth the risk, and it definitely was. Even without knowledge of the back story, it was still wonderful. I loved the storyline, the cinematography and especially the acting. Dan Stevens just proved how versatile he is as an actor. Here he is playing another conflicted character, but it doesn't feel like he's borrowing from his Downton Abbey character at all. 2 thumbs and 5 stars.
