About this show

Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, the original fallen angel, Lucifer Morningstar, has resigned and retired to the City of Angels, where he teams up with an LAPD detective to solve crimes. Whether it's a suppressed desire to punish the wicked or something deeper, the very thought that he could care about a human being disturbs him.

If you're a fan of Neil Gaiman (Sandman, American Gods, Norse Mythology) you will fit right in. Lucifer is a debonair avenger and yet strangely vulnerable. Wickedly witty, sexy and cunning. The back storyline that carries from episode to episode will have you hooked. Great cop show on the surface but there's SO much more. Complexity of relationship between the central cast is great. Stick it out; the build up is akin to Gaiman's comics and novels. It would be diabolical not to watch.

Man I freakin' LOVE this fantastic show - so funny, incredible acting, brilliant thoughtful writing that also takes the piss out of everything, thrills and really cool fight scenes, the mystery of the supernatural, a male lead that I literally CANNOT stop drooling over (as well as laughing at because he's hilarious and gorgeous and that combination is totally irresistible) and a cast who are just having the best time together - it's perfection. Watch it and enjoy it for what it is; heaps of fun with a positive message. You'll thank me. :) But... I really hate having to wait DAYS after each episode is released in the States for them to finally pop up here. Come on Google it can't be that hard surely!

I'm loving the smart ass one liners and all the sarcasm directed at all the right people and the life lessons that we learn along with Lucifer. The King of Hell isn't all bad at all and the cast pulling all this amazing. I want at least 7 seasons, it just that good. I also love the fact that lucy doesn't take anythingor anyone to seriously and he's interactions with Detective Douch and Chloe and Tricksy are utterly hilarious. More please much much more of this wonderful tv show.
