A lively adaptation of the Jane Austen classic. Fanny Price, a penniless young woman, is given up by her unprincipled and destitute family to live at Mansfield Park, the home of her uncle Sir Thomas Bertram in Northampton county. Sir Thomas, being a benevolent and good-hearted relative, makes the choice to raise this timid girl on his estate in the midst of his own family. Though Mansfield Park is populated by the wealthy and established, the consequences of adultery and betrayal and broken friendships are prevalent.
