MARVELS Agents of SHIELD is a show that doesn't surprise me in the least. It looked generic and cliche from the trailers and that's exactly what it is. The characters aren't original, you've seen these typical characters before and at the end of the day they're either annoying or simply not likeable. Overall this is a boring, un-engaging show. If you're looking for a Comic Book series to get into, Arrow is much more suited for you.

Considering all the names attached in the opening credits including Joss Whedon and Jeph Loeb, this is so disappointing. Have seen a handful of episodes from the first season and it really feels like a waste of £3.99 because I'm just not looking forward to watching any more. It's hard to fathom how this is still going but the brilliant Agent Carter was canned after just 2 seasons (the second of which I've yet to see so that's something to look forward to!) If you're late to the party too, seriously, skip it and get AC instead, and heck, even Daredevil (despite the extreme violence). UPDATE: Yeah. It got slightly better near the end but at that point it was a case of "I paid for it, let's just get it over with." Dude, I can't even be bothered to *read wiki pages of what happens in future seasons. Bright side, there are some laughs to be had and there's Lola ~ easily the best character. And it reminded me why I stopped watching TV around 2010: Who needs the drama? And don't listen to other reviewers: You can still be a Marvel fan even if you don't like every single thing they do. I wish everyone involved all the best: It's just not for me x

The first 2/3 of season 1 are mediocre at best... But its for a good reason! It seems to me the show was in a holding pattern until Winter Soldier was released and it could start doing what it really wanted to do! If you're an MCU fan definitely worth bearing with.
