Marvel's Runaways

After the events of season 2, the Runaways and PRIDE are split up. Karolina, Chase and Janet are held captive by Jonah and Jonah's alien family who inhabit the bodies of Victor, Tina and Stacey. Alex, Molly, Xavin, Nico and a very pregnant Leslie attempt to free them from their digital prison, the Algorithm. Plus, Nico has visions of a mysterious woman promising to help her, Geoffrey and Catherine are forced to confront their past crimes and Gert, Dale and Old Lace go "off the grid".

The Algorithm fights back against Karolina, Chase and Janet as they try to escape this digital world. Alex and Nico are inches away, but unable to help because a murderous Jonator has trapped them in a closet. Molly and Xavin must work together from the outside to free them all. Meanwhile, Nico's visions begin to raise suspicions with the others and Gert decides to return to civilization, having leveled-up her powers with Old Lace.

The Runaways become suspicious of each other as they search for the traitor hiding in their midst. Wary of Xavin's suspicions and scared by her own recurring visions of a mysterious witch, Nico confronts the thing she fears most: her dark power. Alex, meanwhile, rebuffs Catherine's attempts to make amends for her crimes. Plus, Leslie realizes her baby will need protection, the alien family exploit Tina's position at Wizard to build the portal that will get them home and Chase struggles to apologize for abandoning Gert and the others.

Fresh off the reveal that Alex is the Magistrate's son, Leslie goes into labor unaware of his true identity. Xavin details how dangerous he is and the Runaways resolve to stop him. With Tamar's help, Leslie gives birth and fulfils Xavin's prophecy in a surprising way. The kids go head to head against the Magistrate's family to stop a kill team from being sent back in their place. Plus, Gert and Chase awkwardly ignore their feelings while working together, Molly teaches Xavin what love is and Morgan le Fay further unlocks Nico's powers.

The kids wake up in an alternate version of the Hostel – this is not the Algorithm – it is another dimension. They meet a magician, Quinton the Great, who warns them of the danger that lies beyond the Hostel doors. Ignoring his advice and venturing into the Dark Dimension, each encounters a different vision from their past. While contending with these dark visions, the Runaways must find Alex, Victor, Stacey, and Tina and return to our world before time runs out and they succumb to this dark world.

Six months passed while the Runaways were in the Dark Dimension. As they ponder what's next, Gert crushes on a cute boy handing out Wizard's new phones. Chase witnesses the strange effects these phones have on their users. Nico is stunned to find Robert healed and dating the witch from her visions, Morgan le Fay. Meanwhile, Victor, Stacey, and Tina struggle to return to normalcy, Molly uncovers info about her parents' deaths and Karolina challenges Nico not to lose herself in her quest to return to the Dark Dimension.

After breaking Molly's enchantment, the kids try to get the word out about the dangers of the phones, but are stymied by Morgan. Nico breaks Tina out of Morgan's confinement to confront the powerful witch. Tina, a pretty powerful witch in her own right, breaks Morgan's hold over Robert. A reunited Minoru family mounts a mission to steal Morgan's most prized possession. Isolated by knowing Leslie's role in her parent's deaths, Molly seeks comfort in an outsider, but the new cute pairing has some serious downside for the whole team.

Cloak and Dagger appear in the Hostel and agree to help Nico rescue Alex, but first they have to save Karolina, Chase, and Gert from Morgan's clutches. After Ty takes them all back to the Dark Dimension, the Runaways infiltrate Alex's prison with the help of Quinton the Great. When Ty, Chase and Gert are separated from the group, Nico and Tandy must overcome their mutual distrust to battle Morgan's forces. Alex makes a deal with a dark figure to save his friends' lives, allowing them to return to their world.

With Morgan's plan to merge the dimensions in motion, the remaining PRIDE members rescue a bewitched Molly and meet the Runaways at the Hostel. The kids and parents join together in a multipronged heist to stop Morgan's takeover. Foiled, a furious Morgan and her coven appear in the Hostel and in the chaotic battle, Morgan pushes Nico's darkness to the brink and one of the Runaways pays the ultimate price to send the evil sorceress back to the Dark Dimension.

Two years after their battle, the Runaways have gone their separate ways and grieved for a fallen friend, but their new lives are interrupted when an Alex from the faraway future tries to kill them. After stopping the attempt, a Chase from the same future leads them back to the day before episode 101, where future Alex seeks to stop the Runaways before they even begin. After rescuing their past selves, they decide to return to the moment they lost one of their own. But to undo the past, one Runaway must make a heroic sacrifice.
