Willy accidentally eats some nectar that Lara was saving for Maya. It makes him tell the truth all the time, whether it's nice or not! However, the consequences aren't always bad, as he manages to save Judge Beeswax... even after having just called him a pain in the neck!

Maya and Willy's favourite tree, the oak, is sick! They need to plant a truffle under it. But they discover Polly (Molly's sister) the mole-cricket, who eats everything under the tree! How are they going to save the oak?

Zig, a little bee, flees his hive because he can't help goofing around, and now he's in big trouble with Beeswax. Zig meets Maya and pretends he wants to live in the meadow like her. But Maya discovers his problem and tries to solve it with him.

Maya and Willy are on the track of the "big bad earwig", who is said to be prowling the meadow at night. They will discover it is just the sensitive and poetic Igor, a little earwig who lives alone in the forest because he scares the others with his claws.

Doc Slick is a pedlar who will do anything to seduce the beautiful singer Lady Cricket, even stealing Flip's violin to play it for her! Maya thinks something is going on, but Willy won't believe her.

A cowpat has landed just in front of the hive. It is a catastrophe, as the Queen is expecting a visit from the other Queens! Ben and his friends decide to help move the cowpat away, but it's easier said than done!

There is a heat wave in the meadow, and Slink the slug is stuck on the ground because all his slime has dried up! Maya and her friends have to find water to hydrate him!

Maya accidentally eats soil and falls ill. Ben prepares a pollen ball mixed with dung for her, but the pollen ball is accidentally gathered by a worker bee! Maya and Willy urgently have to find it before it ends in the hands of a very important delegation of bees!

O tejto relácii

Based on the well-known books written by Waldemar Bonsels, Maya is a story of a little bee that ‘goes her own way’. Her fellow bees, the batch she was born with, are content with the regimented life of the hive and happily do whatever their teacher Miss Cassandra asks of them. But not Maya! For better or worse she´s too curious and spirited to let life pass her by. If a leaf floats onto the pond, Maya sees a sailing adventure waiting to happen. If there´s a flower that blooms once a year on a lonely hill top Maya mounts an expedition to see it. Her adventures sometimes lead her into trouble, but luckily she has Flip an avuncular grasshopper and Willy her best friend to help her out.
