The new DCI Barnaby is just as good as the old one. He's got a better sense of humour and a much more likeable character, even though John Nettles was brilliant in his own right. I love the programme and it also has a younger fanbase now. I will continue to look forward to watching it on Wednesday nights.

Brilliant TV show, really enjoying watching these for the first time and can't wait to watch through the seasons. The characters, the scenery and the storylines are perfectly executed and each episode is a good 1h40m long and very entertaining. Great value for money and much appreciated, thank you.

Murder, stalks the peaceful lanes and pretty stone-cottage gardens,of the charming old-English Midsomer Villages. Dectective Barnaby and his constable, Jones, the local village coppers, must follow the clues and search for a motive that will lead them to the latest cunning killer, as the body count rises.
