Mighty Jungle

A glowing beanstalk leads Babu and Bruce on an adventure to the clouds, where they meet a Giant! At first, they are afraid, but Lionel is a friendly giant, and just wants to play Hide-and-Go-Seek with the boys.

A wishing star that falls to the Jungle isn’t making wishes come true until Bruce, Rhonda and Babu use a bouncy trampoline to get it back into the sky. Four hundred bananas, coming up!

Rhonda can’t believe Bruce is planning a surprise party for himself, and on her birthday, too! But the surprise is on her when Bruce reveals she’s the guest of honour, after all!

Bruce and Babu don’t want to play Tea Party, so Rhonda finds a new friend–Ellie the elephant! But Rhonda soon learns there’s more to Jungle life than playing Tea Party all the time and that it can be fun to teach new games to new friends.

Bruce can’t get out of a tree safely after he loses his helmet, no matter what Babu and Rhonda do to help him. But luckily Ellie the elephant shows up with a new basket that just happens to look just like the missing helmet!

On a day when Babu, Bruce and Rhonda are arguing with each other, a visit from Mr. Bristle turns into a trip down Jungle Memory Lane, as he gets them to tell the story of how they first met. Charging rhinos, tasty snacks, and a new helmet all remind our friends of why they love to hang out together!

Bruce and Babu set off on a safari to look for four-headed dragons, but Rhonda would rather spend time with butterflies. At first, the boys think she’s missing out on fun, but when a real-live dragon shows up, its butterflies that come to the rescue!

Babu is determined to get a prize for a lost tooth from the Tooth Fairy, but there’s a problem–he doesn’t have any teeth to lose! After he puts some fake teeth under his pillow, he has a dream that the Tooth Fairy takes his friend Bruce in return for being tricked.

Bruce is horrified to be given the part of Cindergorilla when the Jungle friends play Fairy Tale. At the Prince’s Ball, Cindergorilla is granted her most special wish–to be a plain old gorilla again!

A trip back in time is a trip away from his blanky for poor Bruce. Our intrepid time travelers meet a real dinosaur, but realize they would rather be back home with pretend dinos and real blankies!

Rhonda has Babu and Bruce all dressed up in nice clothes to get their portraits taken, when a pig arrives from outer space looking for mud. Soon, all the Jungle buddies are covered in dirt, but Space Pigs show they are just as good at getting clean as they are at getting dirty!

Bruce and Babu think that playing tricks on Rhonda is hilarious. Then a Magical Unicorn shows up and starts to play tricks on them. Luckily, some tricks are good–like making gorillas and meerkats play nicer with their friends.

Rhonda’s motto if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again is put to the test when some rowdy monkeys interrupt the Jungle Parade. But with Babu and Bruce’s encouragement, Rhonda learns that nothing can get in the way of good music and good fun!

Babu boasts that he is the fastest in the Mighty Jungle, until a speedy cheetah named Chucky shows up and beats him in a race. When Babu gets the hiccups, he can’t believe Chucky helps him get rid of them, even though he was such a poor loser!

A game of Prince and Princesses threatens to reveal Babu’s secret–he can’t dance! He goes to such great lengths to hide his fatal flaw, that he takes refuge in a super-itchy Itcher Plant. When he starts shaking and shimmying with the itches, Bruce and Rhonda declare him to be a great dancer!

Super Babu loves being a mighty super hero, but Bruce isn’t so sure he wants to be Yucky Man. He doesn’t think his gooey powers are very super at all. That is, until Wendell the Sloth gets stuck under a branch, and only Yucky Man can save the day!

Bruce gets a little nervous when he and Babu and Rhonda go on an undersea adventure. Especially when a big purple octopus shows up! But the octopus is friendly once they get to know him, and soon he has his underwater friends giving the Jungle friends a tour–Under the Mighty Sea!

Rhonda loves to play with make-up, and gets busy giving Bruce and Babu elaborate make-overs, despite their protests. As a reward, she takes them to an ice-cream stand, where she gets turned into an alien by some magic ice cream. After complaining about not looking like herself, she realizes it was wrong to change Bruce and Babu against their wishes.

Bruce and Babu meet a mean monster who turns Bruce into a frog and generally wreaks havoc by casting magical spells. But instead of being scared of the monster, the Jungle friends try to find the source of her crankiness–and it turns out she just wants to be invited to a tea party! Bruce, Babu and Rhonda teach the monster you can catch more flies with honey than with nasty spells.

Babu and Bruce have just the thing for zipping around the Jungle as they do chores, a banana-powered car! But the bananas they use for fuel are too much temptation for the boys, and they eat all of them, leaving them stranded. They learn to appreciate every banana they ever find, especially the surprise ones Mrs. Meerkat gives them for doing their chores!
