After a break in at her home, Renee fears that she and her son AJ are being targeted for being associated with a rat. While Drita and Karen have finally settled their differences, Drita now finds herself in the middle of a feud between Carla and Renee that involves allegations of infidelity and drugs.

After a call from her estranged husband, Lee, Drita contemplates taking her kids to visit him in jail for the first time in years. Joe's young girlfriend is revealed and Carla learns that they are much more serious than she thought. After her recent break in, Renee becomes consumed by her fears as she begins to shop for a new home.

After receiving a threatening letter from Junior, Renee fears for her life and makes it her number one priority to move. Love gets together with her mother and Karen to discuss her desire to have a baby. When Love and Drita reconnect, (figurative) shots are fired at Carla. Ang and Carla try to sort out why Carla has become persona non grata.

After several years since last seeing Lee, Drita and her daughters visit him in prison. Even though things seem to be cordial between Carla and Joe, he is secretly plotting to dissolve their marriage once and for all. Big Ang reveals that she's thrown out Neil, once again.

Ramona is forced to finally confront Drita over a birthday party invitation. Renee tries to turn a corner at rehab but has a hard time letting go of her anger. Back in Staten Island, Carla is stunned when Joe drops the bomb that he wants a divorce. A fight breaks out at the Drunken Monkey that makes Ang reconsider her relationship with Neil.

The women wake up to a borough wrecked by the wrath of Sandy -the largest Atlantic hurricane in history. Overwhelmed by the harrowing devastation in their hometown, the women rise to the challenge by helping each other and neighbors in distress. Meanwhile Renee, still in rehab, battles the urge to reach for a pill to make all the pain go away. As Sandy recovery efforts continue, Love gets an unexpected proposition from one of the exes she stabbed.

Drita dishes the dirty details of Lee's surprise release from prison to Ang and Carla. Renee returns from rehab renewed and ready to play ball with the rest of the women. Ramona holds a long overdue service to honor the memory of her gangster grandfather Lefty "Two Guns," who inspired the movie Donnie Brasco. Meanwhile, in another corner of Staten Island, a new storm is brewing against Carla when Love gets heated with Drita and Karen.

After months of keeping it under wraps, Ramona reveals her secret engagement to Karen, but is stunned by her response. When Karen gets propositioned by her smooth studio partner sparks start to fly. Meanwhile, runaway bride, Love, reconnects with the one who got away.

Ang's Christmas Party turns ugly as Karen and Ramona team up to confront Carla about pulling a butter knife on Renee. Renee takes the girls on a road trip to find the perfect thing to protect her family: an attack dog.

The heat is on in Arizona, as Karen moves fearlessly forward to reopen her father's case and tensions rise even higher as she faces off with Dave's new girlfriend, Rebecca, for the first time. Back in Staten Island, an empowered Renee throws herself into martial arts and a new business venture.

Love visits a neurologist to figure out why she is so volatile. While Carla learns of Love's ever growing animosity and questions Drita's loyalty, Renee lays the groundwork for a new, over-the-top business venture. Ramona begins to make plans for her wedding to her incarcerated fiancé, Joe, even though she has no idea when he'll be released. Karen's relationship with business partner Storm heats up as she introduces him to the women at Love's birthday party.

Karen decides to throw a pre-nup party to educate all the girls about protecting their assets and Ramona is not happy about it. When Love goes ballistic on a friend of Ramona's at Karen's pre-nup party everyone begins to fear for Carla's safety... as well as their own.

When Ramona shares her wedding plans, Karen continues to be an unwelcome voice of reason. With Drita's birthday coming up, Carla prepares for the inevitable confrontation by seeking advice from Joe. After much soul searching, Drita finally makes a decision on her future with Lee. At Drita's 80's themed birthday, the women arrive dressed to the (nineteen eighty) nines but nervous about the ongoing beef between Carla and both Love and Renee.

Dr. Drew hosts and gets to the bottom of the still raw, season-ending brawl between Carla and Love. Sparks fly when Ramona and Karen reveal the long simmering behind-the-scenes reasons they can't stand Carla. Renee and her son AJ bare it all when they revisit Renee's stint in rehab as well as the state of Renee's relationship with Carla after their bitter argument.
