Ellen Plainview finally finished law school & is looking forward to spending time with her 17-year-old daughter Julie. Her plans change drastically when Julie’s charged with the murder of a teacher she was rumored to be having an affair with and Ellen knows that she can't trust anyone but herself to defend Julie—even as she uncovers more & more evidence that seems to point to her daughter’s guilt.
