The “Insider’s Look” exposé on Gerry costs him his job and makes it impossible to get a new one, so he has no choice but to get as far away as he can to start a new life, leaving Xavier behind. Meanwhile, the board is displeased with how Robert handled the “Insider’s Look” fiasco and threatens his job if he doesn’t make things right; and Gerry’s departure has left a vacancy in the Phys. Ed. department, which Ms. Terdie jumps on. Lisa, however, questions her qualifications.

When Gerry’s officially introduced as Xavier’s new principal, the staff’s obvious disappointment leads Gerry to try and gain their trust by making some drastic moves he thinks everyone can appreciate. Meanwhile, Nisha’s having trouble restraining herself when Brandon starts bringing in an adorable support dog to help with his anxiety; and Bill ponders his next move when Barrel’s is suddenly closed for business.
3 Breaking Slime

Slime is all the rage across Xavier, leading Gerry to ban it. Gerry also learns, however, that slime is actually a pretty lucrative business… and his ban just created a vacuum. Meanwhile, Lisa’s changed up her look, making Bobbi see her in a whole new light; and Robert and Dwyer need to find an efficient way to be Co-Vice Principals together.
4 Mister D
11/21/18
Season-only
Gerry is approached by a producer who wants to use Xavier as a backdrop for a movie, but he gets too caught up in the details to see the big picture. Meanwhile, Lisa struggles to find her way as a guidance counselor when Lucy skips her session to get outside advice; and Emma and Nisha deal with the repercussions of going to a magic show together.
5 Security Threat
11/28/18
Season-only
When Gerry’s almost injured in a staffroom incident, he’s disappointed to realize the staff’s indifference over his near-death experience. When Emma tries to convince him he’s overreacting, Gerry sets out to prove how little anyone cares about him, leading to a return from Xavier’s former security guard, Ron. Meanwhile, Donna and Dwyer’s relationship is really starting to feel the effects of her being a prison inmate; and Dave tries to handle Frank’s increasingly challenging requests as delicately as possible.
6 The Dwyer Way
12/5/18
Season-only
When Gerry realizes how poorly he’s been taking care of himself, he adopts Dwyer’s strict diet. Diets require the kind of discipline Gerry lacks, however, so he decides that if he has to suffer, the entire school has to suffer with him. Meanwhile, Nisha plans a group outing to an Escape Room, but doesn’t get the turnout she was hoping for; and Robert informs Trudy that, believe it or not, some staff members have complained about her attitude, and she needs to work on it.
7 A Wedding Story
12/12/18
Season-only
Bobbi and Robert’s big day is fast approaching and, tired of being alone, Gerry desperately wants his own partner. His search takes him online but doesn’t exactly translate to love. Meanwhile, Nisha has a big question to ask Simon’s mom, but Angela's response catches her off guard; and the intensity of marrying someone you work with starts to dawn on a concerned Bobbi.
8 Parting Gift
12/19/18
Season-only
The year’s coming to an end, and the graduating students ask Gerry what the annual Parting Gift from the principal is going to be. The tradition is news to Gerry, but he’s going to go big, or go home. Meanwhile, a downtrodden Lisa leaps at an opportunity to do some actual guidance counselling and discovers a real chance at a clean slate in the process; and Nisha’s trying out coping mechanisms to help with the usual summer goodbyes.

About this show

He's the world's best teacher...just ask him. Based on Gerry Dee's real-life experiences as a high school teacher before he switched to comedy full-time, Mr. D is the story of a charming, under-qualified teacher trying to fake his way through a teaching job, just like he often fakes his way through life.

As educators, we find this the funniest show and are bingeing it during quarantine. Should start with S1 E1 to get the feel. He does everything he shouldn't, which, to us has us laughing out loud quite a bit during each episode. Heading over to the last season. We will be sad when it ends. :(

One of my favorite comedies on right now and by far the best Canadian comedy I have seen in forever! Some might not like or get the humor but if you do you cant stop laughing.
