A witty, slightly rude, but very amusing, Mrs brown who is played by a man seems to have his roll at playing a Irish housewife down to a tee, but you have to listen very carefully or you could get attended. Her day to day challenges puts her patients to the test. As I said very witty and by me highly recommended.

For a long time i refused to watch it and thought it looked stupid and boring. But one day my partner had an episode on and was made to sit throught it. More n more i found myself giggling and looking forward to another episode. Its grown on me big time and yes it can be abit slap stick n dirty humour. But if you like it thats ok n good for me two. Love it. One of the best comadys going

It's the best comedy I've seen in years it's so funny I nearly wet myself laughing and anyone who says different obviously has not got a sense of humour and is a boring older git I've saved them to my favourites as I'm ill and on my bad day where I have to stay in because of my medication I put them on and they make my day fantastic brilliant can't wait for the next episode well done BBC
