My Place is based on the Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins picture book of the same name. It's a child's eye view of the history of Sydney and is the story of one spot in South Sydney through the eyes of 26 kids over 260 years, from 2008 to before European settlement. Each episode is set 10 years earlier than the one before, but always in the same place. All the kids in the series have a habit of getting into some sort of trouble, and their stories are informed by the era in which they live.
