Oscar's Oasis

Oscar is parched. He sees Roco the dog who stops his truck, finds a spring of water with the help of some rods and fill up his flask before driving off again. Enthusiastic, Oscar makes himself some rods and also finds a spring. But the Trio see it and charge over to him. / Oscar is suffering from loneliness. He sees the chickens pecking around together, the Trio having fun throwing stones at tin cans, and he is all alone. He tries to get involved with the dung beetles, but they scatter. Then Oscar finds a doll on a pile of trash and makes her his playmate. / Harchi, Popy and Buck are sipping cool drinks in the shade of a parasol and Oscar is dreaming about stealing one of them, but Popy is on the lookout and he is continually hit by projectiles.

Oscar is parched. He comes across a full bottle of water and tries to open it in every way he can think of. Unfortunately he is incapable of using the bottle-opener correctly. / Oscar is chasing an appetizing fly which is stolen from him... by a pretty lizardette! They flirt a little, but hard luck, a passing chicken makes off with the beautiful female lizard. Oscar sets off, to the rescue! / Oscar is contemplating the full moon when it begins to disappear behind the mountains. Worried, he rushes to find it... and comes across an enormous round stone, which he takes to be the moon.

Oscar is parched. He discovers a barrel filled with a liquid, the sound of which makes his mouth water. But itÍs impossible to open. And hard luck, the Trio spot his barrel and carry it off. But the Trio canÍt get the barrel open either. / Oscar runs from oasis to oasis but theyÍre simply mirages. The third time he sees an oasis he doesnÍt believe itÍs real and... walks into the palm tree. This one was real, with a magnificent pool of water! He doesnÍt have time to dive into it before heÍs hit on the head with an ice-box. / Oscar is having a very hard time trying to catch a fly: he gets an old pot of paint in the face or finds himself hanging from the jaws of a crocodile... At the same time, the Trio are hot on the heels of ManoloÍs truck which is transporting a cargo of fruit.

Oscar is almost passing out with the heat when he spots a parasol in the middle of the chicken coop! He manages to hide underneath it without getting pecked. / Oscar hides in a pile of trash to escape the voracious chickens. A mouldy melon smashes on his head, and an old, yellow feather boa gets stuck to his sticky body. / Oscar finds a cellphone and wonders what such a strange looking object could be used for. He understands pretty fast when he sees the Trio using it to order pizza and soda. So Oscar does everything he can to get the phone back.

Copying something he saw in an advertisement, Oscar builds himself a kind of house out of pebbles. Night falls, he settles down to sleep, but... bad luck! TonightÍs the night the Trio have fixed on to throw a party and have themselves some fun. / Oscar swallows down a dozen flies, what a feast! But the flies in his stomach start to hum like an airplane engine. And there goes Oscar flying dangerously through the air. / A mud-beetle struggles through the sand, pushing a shell... Seen from above, these tracks look like landing strips for aliens, like in old sci-fi movies. Harchi is engrossed in a comic book about alien invasion and the sight of those tracks freaks him out.

Buck discovers that he has just won a raffle. But he loses the winning ticket because of Harchi. Later, Oscar finds the ticket which he sticks on his back to protect himself from the sun. The Trio realise fast that it is Oscar who has recovered it. And he has no intention of returning it. / For once, Oscar has managed to steal one of the chickensÍ eggs. As heÍs about to start eating it, the egg hatches and Oscar finds a chick standing before him, who immediately takes him to be its mother and follows him everywhere. Our reptile decides to take the chick back home. / When a baby lizard falls from ManoloÍs truck, Oscar is convinced he has an adopted son. Problem: Junior turns out to be a lizard of a different breed who gets bigger day after day, without stopping.

Oscar accidentally swallows RocoÍs lucky horseshoe and suddenly heÍs protected from all catastrophes. So now everyone wants to get their hands on him. The Trio fight over him and Roco wants his lucky charm back. ItÍll all end badly! / The three ‚ monsters é are fighting because they are out of candy (jelly crocodile candy) ! And all the candy in the emergency box melted down. Oscar accidentally falls into the box and he comes out covered in jelly, all gooey, looking like a Haribo piece of candy / With the help of a music box, Oscar sends the Trio to sleep, along with certain other animals in the desert, in the hope of stealing food from them. Unfortunately, the lullaby never lasts long enough. Oscar has a fantastic idea, but runs the risk of it turning against him...

When he accidentally sets off one of the fireworks intended for PopyÍs birthday, Oscar wins some admiration from the lizardette. So, he decides to swipe another rocket to really dazzle his sweetheart. / Oscar comes across a nest with an egg in it... he goes to take it but it hatches. A little vulture appears and is delighted to discover such a tasty morsel as Oscar before him. The lizard flees from the baby vulture, who is being chased in turn by a hungry Trio. Who will eat who? / With the Trio chasing after him, Oscar is accidentally knocked down by Manolo and RocoÍs truck. The lizard lies inert on the ground. Overcome with guilt Roco ñmiraculouslyî resuscitates Oscar. From then on, Roco thinks he owes something to the Oscar.

The trio and Oscar are fighting over a source of light : a firefly in a jar. For Oscar and the trio, this firefly would be a perfect way to avoid the dangers of the night and to search for food. / While trying to save his skin, Oscar places his egg in the safety of a cactus flower, at the top of a cactus, at the top of a dune. Unfortunately, it proves difficult to climb back up, especially as Buck, Harchi and Popy have decided to use the giant dune to discover the joys of skiing. / After being rejected by the lizardette, Oscar discovers a bottle of perfume. Having realized that all females are attracted by scent, he hopes heÍll be able to use it to attract his beloved. Unfortunately, the perfume also attracts Popy...

As he is getting chased, Oscar swallows involuntarily PopyÍs little radio, Gulp ! Oscar is able to escape but his stomach starts playing music. As if he were possessed, he tries everything to get rid of this ‚ noise é thatÍs coming out of his mouthƒ.in vain. Soon, Oscar learns to turn this ‚ disability é into an asset. / The Trio are playing cards and gambling. They are bidding food. The skunk is determined to steal all that food from them, using his super-stinking power. Oscar feels a special bond between himself and the skunk. He follows him everywhere to get the leftovers from skunkÍs ‚æmissionsæé. The Trio are determined to fight back. Snife is going to suffer and regret his deeds, unless little Oscar comes to his rescueƒæ? / Oscar is kicked out of the trioÍs camp time after time as he tries to steal a banana from the trio who are particularly vigilant today. Oscar is on the point of giving up when he notices a little dung beetle who is struggling to push his enormous dung ball. A good samaritan, Oscar helps him to push it along. To thank the lizard, the dung beetle decides to go and get the banana with three friends of his.

Oscar gets caught up in a chase between the Trio and the meerkats who have stolen food from the camp. As he tries to escape, Oscar accidentally provokes a series of events: causes an avalanche, destroys cacti, etc. Impressed, the meerkats take Oscar as their new playmate, more even: as the leader of their gang. Livid at having their food stocks raided, the Trio naturally see things differently... / The Trio spot Roco hiding a tin can. They go get it and discover that itÍs concealing a treasure map... leading to a mysterious booty! A frantic chase breaks out between Oscar and the Trio to lay claim to the treasure. / Roco falls out of the truck which drives on. His only chance of getting back to the truck and saving the cargo from the voracious Trio, is to imitate Oscar...

After seeing his photo on the screen of a digital camera, Oscar believes heÍs met his double, a brother, a friend. But what's he doing in that box? Could it be he's trapped in some kind of prison? / Roco's fed up with the dump spilling out over the road. He decides to clear it. He forgot about the Trio and Oscar, they're ready to go to any extremes to save their favourite playground-even an alliance ! / The Trio cleverly succeeds in getting Roco away from his truck and they take over the vehicle. Roco is grief-stricken. He has been separated from his master Manolo and his precious truck has been stolen away! The dog doesn't feel that life is worth living. But Oscar decides to cheer him up.

A jar falls off the back of RocoÍs truck, and lucky Oscar gets it. When out of range of other scavengers, he opens it to tuck inƒ but discovers TOO LATE that the contents are extra hot chilli peppers. The poor lizard starts spitting fire! / While trying to win over the lizardette, Oscar finds himself forcibly recruited by Popy to join a volleyball match where Buck is playing against Harchi and Popy!
