1 Not Everyone’s a Morning Person

Marco and Vicki discover parenting is, literally, for the birds when Abigail leaves a present on their bed. Lydia’s fond childhood memories are the fuel of nightmares for Andy, while Mia’s haunted by Luke’s past. Simon and JP take the shine off of each other’s morning, Luke prepares a feast between the sheets that gets out of hand, and Tom’s sick of Virgil’s slacking. Gerald and Nancy have very different ideas about what makes for a scintillating bedtime story.
2 Turbulence can be Expected

Vicki’s attempt at mothering horrifies her daughter but Marco saves the day, while Lydia and Andy run into turbulence trying get their sex life to take off. Meanwhile, JP holds out on Simon when he discovers he’s a cheater. Work gets in the way when Andy obsesses about insulting a coworker and Luke complains about his coworkers to Mia. Tom serenades Virgil with a sad song, and Nancy and Gerald talk death and money.

When Simon posts photos from a party on social media, JP worries about being exposed. He’s surprised by what Simon’s been hiding under their bed. Vicki and Marco compete over whom their neighbors flirt with more, she’s upset when she discovers Abigail’s on social media. Mia worries that she and Luke don’t really socialize as a couple, while Tom misreads a situation with an old friend, Andy steals Lydia’s heart, and Nancy helps Gerald get the kinks out.
4 Life’s a Circus

Marco’s dramatic clown plans get nixed and he’s forced to don the rainbow wig. His overacting in the bedroom turns Vicki off. Mia gets home to find Luke’s spent the day in bed watching dog videos, she also learns more than she wants to about his lucky boxers and their winning streak. Simon and JP find the view out of their bedroom window very attractive and have drinks with their surrogate. Andy’s annoyed that Lydia doesn’t take things as seriously as he does, while Tom and Virgil come up with a plan to attract women.
5 Petty Is as Petty Does

Marco and Vicki get competitive about their daughter’s affections. Mia, despite her guilty conscience working overtime, helps Luke get up to date on his sex ed. Simon and JP argue over everything, from money to their dog and hogging the blankets. Meanwhile, Virgil’s imaginary iguana causes problems for Tom, Nancy wants Gerald to smile more, and Andy and Lydia try to heat up their love life.
6 Different Strokes

Marco won’t give Vicki a moment of peace and she gets a bit too focused on Abigail’s medication. Tom starts dating again and tries to get Virgil to be less selfish, Mia learns more than she wants to about Luke’s vintage porn stash, Gerald plans the perfect holiday for Nancy, and JP’s happy when Simon goes on a health kick. Andy and Lydia disagree about kissing and weddings, and his concern about her fertility.
7 Family Matters

Vicki and Marco’s plans to spend a day alone together get upended. When JP and Simon decide to have a baby, it’s Simon’s job to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Tom tries out a new style and he and his dad bond over not spending time together. Lydia confesses to Andy that she’s been losing on purpose, and Luke discovers afternoon sex and it unleashes his desire.

Marco pushes Vicki to be a stricter parent while also teaming up with their daughter behind her back. Simon gets into a ratings war with JP’s mother and quickly dashes JP’s romantic dreams. Mia involves herself in family matters and revolts against the idea of becoming a grandmother, Andy thinks Lydia’s too casual in the bedroom, Tom strikes out romantically while Gerald hits a home run.

Andy and Lydia’s love languages clash, but in a surprise move Lydia starts agreeing with him, sending Andy into a paranoid tailspin. Vicki feels guilty about traveling for work but while she’s gone Marco and Abigail break all the rules. Mia surprises Luke in the en suite, Nancy shares a conspiracy theory with Gerald, JP tries to micromanage the baby-making process, while Tom sizes up a relationship and debates cultural appropriation.
10 All’s Well that Ends Well

Vicki’s annoyed by Marco’s questions about her work trip, Abigail is way to savvy not to understand her parents’ double entendre and Vicki gives Abigail boyfriend advice. Meanwhile, Tom’s worried when Virgil starts picking up healthy habits, Nancy wants Gerald to quit quitting, Mia’s guilt affects her relationship with Luke, and JP and Marco learn they’re going to be dads. Lydia gets her perfect wedding.
