14 Operation Big Fish / Operation Blackout / Operation Star Junior
27/9/07
Season-only
An Ocean Sunfish, an enormous creature that can be up to two metres long, with an impossible head and a fin that could be mistaken for a shark’s, has been introduced by men into the open sea off the Oostduinkerke beach in order to fight against the proliferation of jellyfish caused by the warming of the water and the ambient pollution. Another coup for Mr Kyoto! Medusa’s army is in danger. Our three heroes will have to try to fish this monstrous Leviathan from aboard a submarine. Will they be able to triumph over the sea monster’s carnivorous rage? / The electric fish, the gymnotes, which provide the HQ with its electricity, are flat… “That’s no problem”, Anna tells herself, “they just have to be changed!”. Star then discovers the unthinkable, the horror, the scandal: the HQ is functioning on clean energy…! Against all their principles! The hit squad will do everything it can to change its electricity production mode in order to switch to the dirty energy known only to man. / Our protagonists have been assigned a brand new mission: they are to go round puncturing all the tires at the bicycle rental shack, which has been set up by the beach front. But, in the course of duty, Star gets tangled up in some bicycle spokes, losing one of his tube feet in the process. It grows back fast. However, he and his friends are flabbergasted when they hear pining sounds coming from the tiny tip that fell on the sand… Well would you believe it?: a brand new baby starfish is growing, right there, from that sliced-off piece of foot! How will Star react to fatherhood? Will Anna be able to counteract his brawny educational methods? And will Pulpo manage to control this growing feeling of jealousy that he can’t help feeling for the newborn?
