A show that found itself a bit too late, and will forever be lost in a "fan favorite" status. The first episode is a forced walk through quicksand as the writing attempts to introduce characters and its plot. Top it off with jokes that try too hard to appeal to everyone and you have a very lackluster start to a show with such a great premise. It would appear that the writing team was censored for greater appeal, and I feel this rocky start is what led to the show's eventual cancellation. The next episode isn't much better, but starting with episode 3 it seems the writing team was finally allowed to be themselves. The humor was unapologetic, the characters finally fell into their roles, and the stories began to provide a better look into the wonderfully whimsical setting. Unfortunately, TV is a warzone these days and the first few episodes usually hold the highest ratings, leading networks to judge a show's success on those numbers alone. This show is a fun, short romp with some rewatch value: assuming you avoid the first ones.

Cringe office workplace comedy tries and fails. Get rid of chick who can't spell with way too much makeup and could be okay. Horrible CGI. Watch the superior Good Place instead. No repeat, will probably switch to different day then be cancelled like all nbc shows

Not exactly the greatest show I've ever seen, but it was very exciting having to see Vanessa Hudgens in a superhero comedy on NBC. And I think I can see why it has been cancelled. But at least the series had a happy ending, with Vanessa singing "Since U Been Gone" by karaoke. And that is what made her happy, then that's how the series got cancelled, with joy!
