About this show

What if the world was full of superheroes who aren’t actually heroic at all? What if all their “powers” were just one more excuse for mischief, mayhem, murder, and endorsement deals? Enter the men and women of the Powers Division, the brave people in charge of protecting humans like us and keeping the peace over commercialized, god-like men and women who glide through the sky imposing their power over the mortals who both worship and fear them. Based on the graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, the edgy and dramatic POWERS follows the lives of two homicide detectives, Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley, District 9) and Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward, TV’s “The Following"), who are assigned to investigate these cases.

Probably some of the worst editing I've seen, growing worse and worse with each episode. The main actors do a great job, while the supporting cast play pointless roles. At times its hard to tell which is worst, the bad acting or the terrible lines written for these characters.

Even getting it free via PSN didn't make it worth it. I kept hoping it'd improve, but it kept trying to be a better show than it was. The acting was fine, the story and characters were just dumb. And they really could've spent more on the horrible CG.
