Predator Fail

There is no greater predatory testing ground than the African Savannah. Its greatest hunters: the lion, Nile crocodile, and cheetah are at the top of the pile here. Predator hunts prey; predator wins, right?

Follow some of the planet's strangest hunters. These predators often have one key asset that they rely on for their survival, one trump card that gives them a hunting advantage: from deadly venom, to a powerful killing water jet, razor-sharp talons, lightning speed or a big mouth. Yet, while the predator is perfectly adapted for the hunt, the prey is perfectly adapted to survive. They often escape, despite the hunter's sophisticated weaponry.

Underwater, speed and strategy are key to making the kill. Ocean hunters have aced the aquatic hunting games, but even with the top players, things don’t always go to plan. Sometimes the odds are stacked against even the most successful marine predators, and a lot of the time making the kill is not as easy as you think.
