I absolutely loved this show! Animation was incredibly unique and FANTASTIC!! The artstyle and the overall theme is beautiful. The character's personalities were new, fresh and enjoyable. Not too dark and damp and not too baby. I really enjoyed the new ideas put into the show that stuck traditional story but gave it a twist. I personally loved how Leo was quite charming and Donatello was sassy and Mikey was fun but scary at times ( in a funny way ). Best show I've watched in years by far!

The majority of the episodes in this volume are great and some are okay specifically the 22 minute episode specials and episodes 2A and 2B “Origami tsunami” and “Donnie’s gifts”. The only downsides to these episodes are the short running time and having lack of connection to the main plot for most episodes. Overall it has great humour, action, fighting scenes and animation.
