This is the first TMNT series thats actually gotten my attention enough to actually watch it. the animation is super appealing and fluid, though it takes an episode or two to get used to the speed. The music and humor is genuinely enjoyable, and most importantly all the characters are very likeable (yes, even Splinter, he just needed a few eps for that to show.) its a silly and fun show about four kids learning to be heroes that obviously has a ton of passion behind it

Rise first caught my attention on a promo post on another site. I was charmed by the style and the look of the turtles-- among other TMNT shows, heck among other superhero cartoons, this looked fresh and unique. A year later, it absolutely is. The animation is dynamic and fun, the take is modern but not alienatingly so, and the characters are so lovable. This is a wonderful show for people new to the TMNT franchise or who want something lighthearted and upbeat to throw on. I'm especially fascinated as an artist-- in almost every scene or location there's something they do stylistically that I want to take note of. I love this show dearly, and mad props go to the people who make it, because they clearly do so passionately.

I love TMNT. It's what got me get into Martial Arts. TMNT has usually been about Martial Arts/fight scenes, brotherly love, a loving father figure, acceptance of others' physical/personality differences, good over overcoming evil through hardwork/determination, fun humor, and in recent versions a good ongoing story. This new version has none of that, except fight scenes. If you don't care about any of what I mentioned then you'll like this new version. I'd rather watch the Bay movies than this.
