Rookie Blue

Andy McNally's first shift on the job turns into mayhem when shots are fired in a downtown rooming house. In the midst of the chaos, Andy triumphantly makes her first big arrest -- a suspected drug dealer -- who turns out to be Sam Swarek, an undercover officer from her own division. She makes up for her grave mistake by going face to face with a dangerous gunman who already has one man's blood on his hands..

As the other rookies hunt down a dangerous escaped convict, Swarek drags Andy through his undercover haunts on a mission he won't explain. At first, Andy assumes Swarek is a rogue cop trying to settle scores from his undercover days. Then she realizes two things: he's actually trying to track down a missing informant whose life is in danger now that his cover has been blown; and, that there is an undeniable attraction between them.

While working on a high-stakes gun raid, Andy and Gail stumble upon a victim of domestic abuse whose brutal experience in the system has taught her not to trust the police. When Andy promises to protect the woman from her abuser, she soon learns that it takes more than just following protocol to be good at her job. Meanwhile, the other rookies get caught up in the annual Police Retirement boxing match -- a fundraising event known as "Fite Nite."

Andy's undercover skills are tested -- and found to be lacking -- during a citywide campaign to clean up the streets, when she's tapped to pose as a prostitute in order to arrest unsuspecting johns. But the real test comes when Andy and Dov inadvertently put a vulnerable street informant's life in danger, and it's up to the two rookies to infiltrate a dangerous gun deal in order to save the trapped woman from a group of ruthless criminals.

A home invasion at an upscale address leads to a massive first response call that brings out the training officers in full force. After the scene is cleared, Andy and Traci remain behind with the terrified homeowner. When Traci is called away to deal with an emergency with her son, Andy is left alone to face the armed thief who is still prowling around the house.

Andy's romance with Det. Luke Callaghan gets complicated when he chooses her for a special assignment - serving a search warrant for a bullet lodged in the head of a witness to murder. When the witness escapes, Andy risks her life to apprehend him, but later finds herself at odds with Luke over the next steps in the case. Meanwhile, the other rookies discover the shocking truth behind evidence from a fatal traffic accident.

A severe heat wave wreaks havoc on the city, forcing the rookies to work around the clock to keep the peace. In the midst of the chaos, Andy discovers that a serial rapist may have resurfaced to prey on vulnerable teenage girls. And when the extreme temperature precipitates a citywide blackout, Andy finds she's cut off from all backup and must take down a vicious predator -- alone.

After their High School Outreach assignment goes awry, Andy and Chris stumble on the victim of a vicious beating behind a nightclub. When the trail of clues leads them to discover the man's assailant was a cop, the rookies are faced with a gut-wrenching moral decision -- a choice that could dramatically jeopardize their future on the force. Meanwhile, the senior officers compete in a retraining exercise led by Frank Best, the new acting Staff Sergeant.

After a routine speed trap leads to a messy accident on a city highway, Chris and Gail find one of the cars mysteriously empty and quickly realize that its license plate matches the one being broadcast in a citywide "Amber Alert" -- a nine-year old girl has been abducted and the driver of the vehicle is the prime suspect. A whirlwind manhunt ensues involving a complex interrogation of the missing child's parents. As always, everyone has a secret.

Andy's attempt to avoid Swarek is thwarted when both are assigned to a prisoner transport. When things go awry and the inmate breaks loose, the two officers are led on a cat-and-mouse foot chase through the meandering woods. Meanwhile, Chris and Traci help Jerry reconstruct the missing notes of a vital court case, and Dov and Gail piece together the mystery behind an amnesiac John Doe.

What was to be a routine day for Andy is abruptly put on hold when her ex-copper father, Tommy, confesses that he might have committed a serious crime during one of his alcohol-induced blackouts while settling a score that has tortured him for years. As she and Swarek try to piece together what happened, little by little she begins to uncover the truth about the case that sent her father over the edge -- evidence that could possibly send him to prison.

There's a nervous tension in the air on Judgment Day for all the rookies at 15 Division who will have to undergo make-or-break assessments by Staff Sergeant Frank. But after the death of an unidentified girl at a house party -- an emotionally harrowing experience that pushes all of her buttons -- Andy begins to question whether she has what it takes to be a copper and contemplates handing in her badge.

Andy and Chris accidentally screw up one of the biggest drug busts of the decade when they arrest one of the players. In an effort to save the operation, Swarek and Andy go undercover to make the drug buy. When Andy realizes that their bait and switch has created an ambush that will endanger Swarek's life, it's all hands on deck as the coppers of 15 Division rush to save the life of one of their own.

While running crowd control at a downtown concert, Andy's world is thrown into chaos when a young woman is caught in the crossfire during a random shooting. Devastated by the seemingly senseless act of violence, Andy sets out to unravel the motive behind the shooting. Her investigation into the victim's roommate, Miranda, leads her to the young man responsible for the shooting. And in a harrowing takedown of the suspect, Officer McNally proves that even though she's still a rookie, she's an excellent cop. Meanwhile, 15 Division's new detective Jo Rosati investigates her own angle on the concert shooting, as sparks fly between her and her former partner -- Detective Luke Callaghan -- and Dov works closely with the victim's mother to try and bring some meaning to the young woman's shooting.

The rookies and training officers are called to a vicious bar brawl that involves PATRICK MURPHY, an ex-cop and Oliver's old friend. Andy and Gail are sent undercover as waitresses to help stop the trafficking of drugs in and out of the bar. But the job proves more dangerous than expected. In the course of protecting their cover, Gail gets fired from the bar and Andy is forced to continue the investigation alone. As she delves deeper into the seedy underworld of the bar, she puts herself at greater risk. When Patrick Murphy saves Andy's life by shooting the main suspect in the drug trafficking, Oliver can't shake the feeling that his old friend may have fallen farther from the blue line than he ever could have imagined.

Andy and Swarek are launched into a bizarre investigation when they are called to the scene of an accident and find three severed heads in the trunk of a car. They soon realize their prime suspect is an emotionally disturbed young man who is obsessed with a young coffee barista. As Andy and Swarek work to keep this woman safe, Luke is badly wounded when the disturbed man shows up at his house looking for Andy. Meanwhile, Dov and Gail answer a call of "shots fired" and are forced to take the man down, as Swarek and Andy rush to Luke's aid. They work together to save the Detective's life.

With Luke still in hospital after his brutal shooting, Andy tries, and fails, to cheer him up. At 15 Division, a laundromat becomes the newest target of a serial arsonist, and the rookies are sent to canvass the area for suspects. Traci apprehends a teenaged girl who immediately confesses to the crime, but Traci can't help but be suspicious of the girl's motives for confessing. And when Andy and the widow end up trapped inside the laundromat and discover the body of the widow's husband, this arson begins to look exactly like what it is: a disguised suicide. As the fire department works to get Andy and the widow out of the building, the rest of 15 Division try to keep the scene under control. And when the smoke starts to settle, everyone starts to see each other more clearly -- including Dov and Gail.

When an impromptu takedown jeopardizes a 15 Division sting in a car dealership, Dov and Chris are tasked with booking the suspect, Marco Forlan -- a career criminal who offers up the location of a grow-op in return for leniency. Dov volunteers himself and Chris to investigate Marco's tip, which leads to the discovery of a booby-trapped meth house. Dov finds himself trapped on an IED as Chris calls for backup. Meanwhile, Andy and Traci attempt to track down a suspect of their own, a woman who went missing during the takedown. What they find is a woman down on her luck, living in her car, and in need of their help. As Andy and Traci try to keep this woman out of prison while upholding the law -- they (along with rest of 15 Division) are called to the scene of the meth house where they all join together to support one of their own.

When Marco Forlan is found murdered, there's little doubt it's the work of the East Jameson gang. Hot on the heels of 15 Division's transparency campaign, run by none other than Superintendent Elaine Peck (Gail's mom), the pressure is on to use the murder investigation as a way to make the Division look good. A vehicle from the scene of the crime leads the police to a young, inexperienced escort -- who finally agrees to testify against the gang. As they attempt to keep the girl safe, Andy finds herself paired with Detective Jo Rosati, and soon discovers that Jo has a secret of her own... one that involves Andy's fiancé, Luke.

After the devastating discovery of Luke's infidelity with Jo, Andy McNally finds herself single again. And when a woman gets brutally attacked under Andy's watch, she can't help but wonder if her personal problems are clouding her professional vision. But when the details of the woman's attack seem alarmingly similar to those of the unsolved Zoe Martinelli murder, Andy finds herself caught between the dueling theories of the very people that betrayed her: Det. Luke Callaghan and Det. Jo Rosati. When Luke is suddenly dropped from the case, Andy decides to follow Luke's hunch -- putting her own life in danger along the way. It's all hands on deck as the officers from 15 Division set theirs sites on a predator and struggle to capture and keep him off the streets.

After a seemingly drunken man collapses in the barn, 15 Division is put under quarantine. Andy and Swarek work together to find the accomplice of a dyed blue bank robber. Gail Peck worries about her exposure to the sick man, while Chris goes undercover in a holding cell. And Dov's first date with a sexy bomb tech ends in a thrilling takedown.

Andy, Chris and Dov are excited to be training for the Mounted Unit. But when Dov injures his back during a riding stunt, he's forced to hit the streets with Gail as he recovers from his injury. Meanwhile, a young, pregnant woman calls in a fake bomb threat to a local restaurant -- leading 15 Division to a dangerous Chinese gang, who may be planning a murder as an initiation rite for a new member. And as Swarek, Oliver Gail and Dov race against the clock to stop the murder, Andy and Chris deal with personal issues of their own.

While in pursuit of a missing child, Andy and Swarek come upon an accident scene where a woman is pinned in her car. As Andy tries to keep the woman calm while they wait for medical units to arrive, Swarek continues his hunt for the missing child and his abductor. Meanwhile, Dov, Chris and are on their own pursuit of the abductor -- but things get messy after Dov confesses his indiscretion with Gail. Back at the barn, Traci and Gail question a witness -- who has a vital piece of information that helps them to solve the identity of the abductor.

After convincing Swarek to return undercover, Detective Donovan Boyd's back in 15 Division. This time he's choosing three rookies for a top-secret undercover training exercise: Dov, Andy and Traci are given one night to complete their tasks and return safely to 15 Division. But when Andy and Traci run into Swarek (also on his own undercover operation), they must navigate their personas very carefully in order not to blow his cover. And when they come upon a young woman who is overdosing on drugs, the two rookies must risk blowing their own covers in order to save her life. Meanwhile Dov runs into Jeremy, a drug dealer and an old friend of his dead brother. As Dov angles to gain Jeremy's trust, he is forced to choose between betraying his old acquaintance and passing the undercover training exercise. Meanwhile, back at the barn, Chris pushes a bullied teen to stand up for himself -- and finds that the consequences are not what he bargained for.

When Gail's uniform is stolen from her car, she and the other officers from 15 Division are led on a wild goose chase throughout the city as they try to catch a cop impersonating vigilante who's wearing Gail's stolen uniform. When a drug deal gone awry leads them to an addicted young man, Chris and Dov begin to unravel the motive behind the cop impersonation. Meanwhile, Andy and Swarek's forbidden romance culminates in the sudden disappearance of Sam Swarek. And Andy's terrified that she is to blame.

Blaming herself for Swarek's disappearance and fearing for his life, Andy struggles to find a lead. Recalling her own experiences with Brennan, Andy begins to wonder if the car accident that killed Brennan's wife and child might have something to do with Swarek's disappearance. Hoping that finding Brennan will mean finding Swarek, she enlists the help of the other rookies to investigate the crash -- where they discover an elaborate cover-up that incriminates one of their own... Detective Donovan Boyd. While Swarek struggles to survive Brennan's vicious interrogation, the rookies figure out where he's being held and race to the scene. Swarek is found and Brennan is arrested; but for Andy and Swarek, the celebration is short-lived. In the wake of the chaos, they both find themselves suspended from the job that means so much to them -- the very job that brought them together in the first place.

At 15 Division, Andy's real life comes flooding back when she reunites with her friends, and meets her possible new replacement -- new rookie, Nick Collins, who's not only ex-military, but also Gail's ex-fiancé. Tensions rise when Andy comes face to face with Sam Swarek— whom she left three months ago without a word. But before Andy can explain her reasons for leaving Sam, they're involved in a serious highway collision. In the messy aftermath of a brutal 4-car pileup -- and right before a van full of chemicals catches on fire -- Andy saves a young girl hiding in the back of the van. Things get even messier when the girl disappears from the chaos of the scene.

On patrol one early summer night, Oliver and Dov respond to a break-in at a downtown high school -- only to discover they've been pranked, and that their armed squad car has been stolen out from under them. As the officers hit the streets to recover the stolen vehicle, Andy and Swarek's pursuit of a teen joy rider leads them to discover the violent assault of a local criminal kingpin. Following the trail of evidence, they soon realize the assailant is a young employee who had recently been forbidden from dating the man's teenage daughter. The officers track the desperate young man back to the girl's high school, only to discover that he is armed and distraught. Now faced with a dreaded ʻschool shooter' scenario, Andy and Swarek work together to stabilize the situation before anyone gets killed.

On one of the hottest days of the summer, the inner city neighborhood of Jamestown is throwing a "streetball" tournament -- and the probability of violence is high. Staff Sergeant Frank Best knows the neighborhood well -- he grew up on those streets, and knows many of the bad guys by name, including an ex-con named Roland Jones, who promises to tell Frank if he hears of anything brewing. Meanwhile, when Dov and Chris stop at a nearby convenience store, Dov walks in on a robbery-in-progress. When the young man behind the counter pulls a weapon, Dov doesn't hesitate. He shoots, killing the young man, and sending Dov's world tumbling into chaos. In the ensuing investigation, Dov spirals into doubt -- Did he act too quickly? Did he use excessive force? When Jerry and Sam are unable to find the young boy's gun at the scene, Dov faces the possibility of being charged with murder. And when word of a cop shooting hits the volatile streets of Jamestown, 15 Division struggles to prevent a riot.

On Traci's first day as a detective, all hell breaks loose when a carload of girls from a drunken bachelorette party is involved in a fatal accident. When Jerry discovers the driver of the other vehicle was murdered before the accident -- and that Traci's "rookie" handling of the car crash may have compromised the impending homicide investigation -- he pulls Traci from the case and asks her and the other rookies to process the DUI. As Gail and Chris work together, interviewing the bridesmaids, Chris realizes that he still has feelings for Gail, but soon learns that new rookie Nick may be competition. Meanwhile, as Traci and Andy question the bride, they discover she is hiding a bigger secret that might be the key to solving Jerry's homicide case... And Dov's search for purpose in the wake of his tragic shooting leads him away from his girlfriend, Sue and towards a surprising and disturbing source of comfort -- the sister of the boy he killed.

Meanwhile, Detective Jerry Barber's career may be on the line when a stash of guns he recovered during a case end up resurfacing back on the street.

A silent alarm leads Andy and Swarek to the discovery of an illegal warehouse party, and to an injured John Doe -- a homeless squatter who has been the victim of a brutal stabbing. While 15 Division works to contain the unruly teenagers to the scene for questioning, Andy and Swarek apprehend a surprising witness -- Oliver's 15-year-old daughter, Izzy. When Chris and Nick discover John Doe's identity, things take a turn for the worse: he names Izzy as a material witness in his stabbing. But when the officers of 15 Division discover Izzy has disappeared, they move into emergency mode, tracking her down and keeping fellow officer, Oliver Shaw, from blurring the lines between being a protective parent and a lawful officer.

Nick and Oliver embarrass 15 Division when they're surprised by a pair of gunmen and end up losing the key witness in an upcoming mob trial. With no leads, all hope seems lost for the police until a man comes in off the street with vital information about their witness' whereabouts. The only problem: the man claims to be a Psychic who simply had a vision of the missing witness. However, when the man's information checks out, the officers are forced to take it on faith and start their search. But after the psychic's tip leads the police into a trap, they begin to suspect the man's motives. And as they discover the Psychic is actually connected to the mob family, the question becomes: is he really psychic or just a con man with a bigger agenda?

When a grad student goes missing, Andy and Nick's search reveals the young woman was leading a double life as a high-end escort. And when the police discover that another escort also went missing a month ago, a pattern begins to emerge. As Jerry and Traci track a white-collar client the two women had in common, Gail, who fits the physical description of the missing women, goes undercover in a sting. An increasingly pregnant Noelle -- who has done her fair share of escort stings -- swings into Training Officer mode, teaching Gail about "The Girlfriend Experience." Meanwhile, Chris and Dov are frustrated after they're tasked to wade through hundreds of seemingly useless phone tips. But when a promising tip leads them to the body of the missing woman, the case takes a dangerous turn -- looks like the work of a killer who's still at large and could be targeting Gail.

The same night the officers of 15 Division are forced to release a suspected predator for lack of evidence, Andy and Gail are violently assaulted in Andy's loft -- and Gail is abducted. Detective Luke Callaghan is brought in to oversee the case that very well may be the work of a serial murderer. Working frantically to track down Gail's abductor before it's too late, the officers rally - and zero in on their prime suspect. But when that search comes up empty, they have to go back to the drawing board -- which leads Andy and Swarek back to the same hotel where they ran the call-girl sting the night before. Meanwhile, the other rookies follow up on leads to similar cases in a desperate search for details that might point to Gail's whereabouts. And when one of the officers follows up on a simple lead, it puts them directly in the path of the demented killer -- forcing them to make the ultimate sacrifice.

The officers of 15 Division struggle to come to terms with their fallen colleague and get back to work patrolling the streets. And when they discover that a police laptop containing sensitive information has been stolen they set off on a hunt to recover the computer and prevent any dangerous fallout. Andy, Nick and Swarek eventually uncover a drug informant who may have been compromised by the leak -- and decide to see the deal through in order to protect the man's life. But when that informant's motives come into question, it drives a wedge between Andy and Swarek that unleashes a flurry of pent-up emotions.

Andy and Nick are called to the scene of a van that's been torched, and discover that it belongs to Father Jean Pierre -- a street priest who's been receiving death threats from the local drug kingpin. Although the priest is reluctant to accept the officers' help, things turn more dangerous when Father Jean Pierre is the target of a drive-by shooting. During their investigation, Andy and Nick learn some surprising secrets about the priest's history and the surprising connection that he has with one of the members of the kingpin's crew. Meanwhile, Gail and Traci pick up one of the dealers young runners: a girl who refuses to inform, forcing Traci to make a major decision about her career; Chris tangles with Swarek as they clash over what it takes to be a good cop; and Dov's new relationship takes a dramatic and dangerous turn.

With the senior officers off on another assignment, the rookies of 15 Division are on their own. But a seemingly innocuous shift leads to a frenzied night in the station when an improperly searched prisoner pulls a gun on Chris in cells. With Internal Affairs looking for someone to blame and potentially fire, the rookies find themselves recalling and defending their actions during the chaotic shift. Knowing someone's career may be on the line, they walk the delicate line between telling the truth and having each other's backs as they reflect on the personal and professional choices that might have helped lead to the nights events. Meanwhile, Gail is still trying to be normal after her harrowing abduction; Chris is blindsided with a personal revelation; and Andy learns a dark secret about Nick's past. When the Internal Affairs inquiry reaches its end, it seems as though Chris will take the blame. But as another officer steps in and takes the fall, it becomes clear that 15 Division will actually be losing one of its rookies.

Andy McNally, post breakup and intent on getting on with her life, is dashed to learn that she didn't make the cut for Luke Callaghan's high-profile taskforce due to her very public, private life. When a prison transfer goes awry and the convict flees custody, the officers of 15 Division are troubled to learn that it's John Grey, the pedophile they apprehended earlier in the year. Determined to catch him before anyone gets hurt, Andy and Dov soon determine that Grey is trying to find the same young girl he was holding captive when they arrested him. But when their investigation leads them to the office of the girl's psychotherapist, they discover that a desperate Grey has abducted a different girl. As the officers track him to a nearby hotel, Andy finds herself in a standoff to save the terrified girl whose hands have been taped to a live grenade. And when Sam Swarek comes to Andy's rescue, he's finally prompted to reveal his true feelings, forcing Andy to choose between her professional and personal life. Meanwhile, Chris' family obligations have him contemplating a transfer to another division and Traci and Gail each face the biggest decisions of their respective careers.

After six months working undercover in a border town, infiltrating a meth pipeline that leads straight to downtown Toronto, Andy and Nick's undercover operation goes sideways, when Nick - and then Andy - go missing. Meanwhile, a random arrest at 15 Division puts Swarek and our officers in the middle of a messy, violent Drug Squad investigation...the same investigation that's being fueled by Andy and Nick's undercover intelligence. It's Friday the 13th and everyone at 15 Division is prepared for a night of pranks and superstition - but it's no joke when Marlo and Gail get called to a downtown ravine and discover human bones. As the sun goes down and the bones are identified, Swarek realizes it's a 15-year-old missing persons case he worked on with his old Training Officer, Charlie Fitzgerald. Swarek reunites with his old T.O. to investigate previous suspects and in the process gets a closer look at his mentor. Meanwhile, the weirdness of the night finds its way into the station as Chloe and Dov can't agree on how to deal with a witch and her disgruntled client. It's the day of Frank and Noelle's wedding and everyone at 15 Division, especially Andy, is hoping for an easy shift, so they can get out early and start celebrating. But those hopes are dashed when Andy and Nick discover a casino bound bus full of old people who've just been robbed at gunpoint. Things get messier with the case when they realize they may be looking for an "inside man" and will have to re interview all the seniors involved. Meanwhile, wedding preparations are also getting messy, in fact, the bride seems to have disappeared. Andy and Nick track down and stake out their bad guy, while Traci and Steve Peck find Noelle and try to convince her to tell Frank what's going on. Chris and his family return to the city for a visit. But Chris' reunion with his rookie family takes a shocking turn when his son, Christian, is abducted from a local park while under the care of Andy and Nick. It's all hands on deck at 15 Division in an effort to find Christian and his captor. As Swarek questions Andy and Nick about what happened at the playground, he inevitably uncovers the truth about their budding relationship. Meanwhile, Traci attempts to gather information from a devastated Denise, as Chris struggles with being treated like a victim, and kept in the dark about the investigation, unable to do any police work. It's nearing the end of a shift at 15 Division when a routine grow op bust leads to the discovery of a body. While Swarek, Oliver, Chris and Dov manage to escape work just in time, Andy, Chloe, Nick, Gail and Traci are roped into working overtime with the next platoon. Together they help manage what has become a rather unusual murder case and Traci's first solo homicide case. In the meantime, Swarek, Oliver, Chris and Dov head off to Oliver's new cabin in the woods for a day of generator repair and male bonding. While Traci bumps heads with Steve on the murder case, Andy accompanies Gail to the hospital for an injury caused in the grow op. Marlo reveals to Andy that she's been watching suspected pedophile Kevin Ford for days. When Andy answers a home invasion call and finds Ford badly beaten, she fears the investigation will point back to Marlo. She contacts Swarek, who is stunned by the news and scrambles to cover Marlo's tracks recruiting Andy to help. Together, they keep the spotlight off Marlo long enough to find the assailant. But Swarek and Andy are left shaken by the day's events and the choices they made. Meanwhile, Traci oversees a major drug sweep, with Chloe, Nick, Dov and Gail assisting. 15 Division is poised to break the single week record for drug collars, but when Sam leaves his post with Traci to help Marlo, the operation takes an unexpected turn. Andy and Chloe are blindsided when they respond to a routine 911 call and an unseen shooter gravely wounds Chloe. After shots are fired at a subsequent emergency call, the officers realize they are the targets of someone with a grudge against 15 Division. Now they must continue to serve and protect the community while in the line of fire and hopefully figure out who is hunting them before anyone else gets hurt. When Andy figures out that the shooter is Kevin Ford from the previous episode, the suspect that Marlo had been stalking in her manic state, Andy has a sinking feeling: her transgression in helping Swarek cover for Marlo's actions may have come back to bite them all. Swarek and Andy realize that off duty Marlo might also be in trouble and head off to find her before Ford can. Oliver Shaw is taken hostage and used as a decoy for Kevin Ford's ultimate plan to seek revenge on the officers at 15 Division specifically those who were involved in questioning his involvement with the abduction of Chris Diaz's son. Many of 15's officers are sequestered to the station to be kept safe from Ford's attacks, but Ford out smarts them and in the end, shoots another officer. While our officers are off dealing with the repercussions of Oliver's abduction, Dov and Wes argue over what would serve Chloe best for her recovery with Wes having the upper hand, since he's still technically married to Chloe, Dov butts heads with him over what Chloe would want. In the end, all our officers are reunited at the hospital not knowing whether things will ever be the same. 2013 Rookie Blue Four Inc

In the aftermath of the night's traumatic events, Andy and Dov try to pull themselves together at an all-night diner, but are caught off-duty and off-guard in a volatile diner hold-up. Despite a generous offer from Inspector John Jarvis, Oliver's not interested in extending his contract as Acting Staff Sergeant. Just knowing he's about to get back in a blue shirt has put a spring in his step. But Oliver's day takes a serious turn for the worse when he learns that Professional Standards is arriving today for Duncan Moore's dismissal hearing. The hearing was supposed to be happening two weeks from now, and Andy hasn't had any chance to prepare. It’s been one month since Ted McDonald’s death, the evidence room bombing, and the revelation of Marlo’s pregnancy (Ep. 11). After a blissful and well-deserved few weeks away at Oliver’s cabin, Andy and Sam return home renewed and ready to dig in. But on her first night back, Andy is attacked by an intruder at Traci’s house. Andy leaps into action and fights off the attacker; but her shock at the situation compels her to launch her own investigation into what happened. After uncovering similar attacks in her neighborhood – young women, alone, in apartments with open windows to the hot summer night – Andy and the officers of 15 Division will have to fight the Sex Crimes Unit on how to proceed, in order to protect the vulnerable and do the right thing. Meanwhile, after learning of Marlo’s pregnancy, Sam will have to figure out how to tell Andy the devastating news and brace himself for her reaction.

In the wake of Marlo’s pregnancy bombshell (Ep. 12), a devastated Andy tries to process what this means for her future and the future she thought she’d have with Sam. Andy gets a welcome distraction and perspective-check when she meets Hayley, an out-of-control teenager who needs to be protected from her own conservative family, challenging Andy’s vision of a perfect family. Meanwhile, Nick and Juliet’s star-crossed romance starts to feel inevitable when they are sent on the road together on Juliet’s first shift at 15 Division – if only she would see it that way.

When 15 Division is tasked with transferring two prisoners from a women’s correctional institute, Oliver sends Andy, Juliet, Nick, and Gail. But tensions are running high in the over-capacity prison and a riot breaks out with our officers trapped in the middle. As the prison goes into lock-down, Andy and Juliet’s dangerous inmate, Kenzie, becomes desperate to get to the infirmary to prove her innocence – even if she has to take an officer hostage to do so. Andy becomes increasingly wary of the mysterious Juliet, but they’ll have to work together to make it out of the prison. Meanwhile, Sam shows up at Marlo’s ultrasound and stays by her side while they anxiously wait to hear if something’s wrong with the baby – but in the process some happy news accidentally gets let out of the bag.

As Juliet continues to try to keep her distance from Nick, she’ll find herself conflicted when he starts acting strange and lying to her. But Nick has good reason – his estranged brother, Finn (who he never told Andy or Gail about) – has reached out with information on the drunk driver that killed their parents 18 years ago. Nick and Finn have always agreed on what they would do if they found him, but Nick will have to decide if he still wants to go through with that plan – with Juliet refusing to leave his side. Meanwhile, Dov and Chris have a kick-ass day on the street, taking down an escaped MMA-fighter/criminal… only to leave Dov feeling like something’s missing.

With Traci at the helm, 15 Division gears up for today’s raid: the target is a notorious gun dealer scheduled to receive a shipment in a few hours. But when Traci gets called away to Leo’s school and then goes off the grid, no one can believe that she would miss her first raid. They fear that Thom Kozik, the ruthless gun dealer, might be to blame for her disappearance. It’s all hands on deck when Andy and Gail realize that the serial rapist that got away from us (Ep. 512) is back – and he’s got Traci. As 15 Division works furiously with the Sex Crimes Unit to track down the suspect, Traci is trapped with her captor, using everything she knows as a cop to figure out who he is and fight her own way out.

It’s community-outreach day, with 15 Division hosting a friendly baseball game with kids in a neighborhood plagued by gang violence. But when the game is interrupting by gunfire from a drive-by, and two players are hit, it appears obvious it’s gang-related – all the officers have to do is convince someone in this terrified neighborhood to ID the shooter. This case could be a huge win for Steve Peck, but Gail can’t help but feel they’re missing something and must follow her instincts to find the truth. Meanwhile, Swarek plans a “perfect getaway” with Andy up to Oliver’s cabin – a trip which turns into a test of their ability to rise above all kinds of set-backs, including the unspoken one of bringing Sam’s-baby-by-way-of-Marlo into the world – but it might just turn out to be the perfect trip after all.

Sam can barely believe his ears when Noelle – Juliet’s boss at Internal Affairs – tells him that all evidence of corruption at 15 Division points back to their dear friend, Oliver Shaw. Sam and Andy decide to go rogue to clear Oliver’s name, but with Commissioner Alonso Santana hot on their trail, they have only until the end of today to track down Chris Klem: the missing explosives-dealer who can prove Oliver’s innocence. But after a perilous chase ends with Chris Klem in custody, Andy and Sam are left reeling when they hear what he has to say. Meanwhile, an oblivious Oliver has his hands full with a sensitive missing child case that reaffirms what an outstanding cop he is, both on the street and in the white shirt.

Word of IA naming Oliver as the root of the corruption within 15 Division has spread, and while no one believes it, our officers know he will be forced to take the blame unless they can prove it’s a set-up. But with Oliver gone, and with and Commissioner Santana in the division to review Oliver’s case files, this will be no easy task. Andy, Dov, Gail, and Nick – with the help of Juliet’s IA skills – come up with a plan to entrap Commissioner Santana into revealing he’s the guilty party. Meanwhile, after Chris Klem’s shocking revelation in Ep. 518, Traci works alongside Steve Peck in the hopes of finding Klem was mistaken and she is not sleeping with the enemy. And Sam prevents Oliver from making a decision he’ll regret for the rest of his life.

Business at 15 Division is slowly getting back to normal as Alonso Santana and Steve Peck await trial, and as Oliver returns to work as a street cop, back in blue. With the city in the middle of a heat wave, 15 Division opens to the public as a cooling station. After an incident at her mental health facility, a very-pregnant Marlo asks Andy to help track down a patient who she suspects is planning to hurt her ex-husband. But just as Andy and Marlo discover that their missing patient has an entirely different plan in mind, Marlo goes into labor in a high-rise condo with no power. Meanwhile, Dov and Chloe work together to help a local man in the “perfect relationship” and finally get all their issues out on the table.

Andy’s new and complicated reality has hit her hard since the arrival of Sam and Marlo’s baby girl (Ep. 520). The situation is complicated, painful, and no one’s fault – so when the opportunity for Andy to go to Vancouver on a 4-month UC operation arises, she debates whether “pressing pause” would be best for everyone. In the wake of the corruption scandal that rocked 15 Division (Ep. 519) – and on the day of Steve Peck’s hearing – Inspector Jarvis announces that the division is being restructured: some officers will be sent to different platoons, transferred, or promoted to other units. On what could be one of their last shifts together, Andy, Chris, Chloe, and Dov investigate suspicious drug use at an end-of-summer music festival, unraveling a thoughtless revenge scheme that ends in tragedy.

While everyone is reeling from the news that 15 Division is about to be permanently restructured, the big day has finally arrived. Andy and Sam are getting married at a little church near Oliver’s cabin. But the course of true love never did run smooth. The city’s in gridlock due to late-summer weekend chaos, and getting out of town is proving a serious problem. On her way up north in Swarek’s truck – alone and in her wedding dress – Andy finds herself dealing with a distressed young hitchhiker on the highway. This encounter leads Andy to double back to investigate a car she saw earlier, pulled over on the side of the road – and she discovers the driver has been critically injured. Can she save the man’s life? Will she make it to her wedding on time? Will she ever have a chance to rewrite her lost vows? And what will happen to the officers of 15 Division when they get back on Monday?
