SQ is one of the few anime shows that displays the best of Far East values of resilience and good will against adversity, all in incredibly realistic scenarios. Not for nothing most regular anime fans ignored it. Here's the crew: -Yoshino, serial job applier reject, the group leader and as such the very symbol of strength and resilience who never lets life turn her down and sour. She’ll never cook, chase any boy or offer fan service as in other animes, let alone have superpowers, not too bright either, yet she’s extremely attractive. -Ririko, neither a studying nor working, avoiding the real world by turning all her attention to manga & related fantasy items (just as I mentioned earlier). -Maki, her career went nowhere and ended as Ririko as well. But she doesn’t hide from real life with fantasy, instead she becomes bitter and angry. -Sanae, an IT professional who couldn’t stand the abusive work load at Japanese companies and moved to small town Manoyama, where she feels guilty thinking she cowardly ran away from responsibility. -Shiori, the less screwed-up of the crew. She doesn't seem to need much drive or ambition due to her local status and connection to the local government.
