About this show

It's been 50 years since we saw Samurai Jack and time has not been kind to him. Aku has destroyed every time portal and Jack has stopped aging, a side effect of time travel. It seems he is cursed to just roam the land for all eternity. His past haunts him as well as a cult of assassins dedicated to killing him for Aku's glory. Samurai Jack is created, executive produced and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky.

This season has added so much depth to Jack, and it has created a situation where so much more is at stake than the other seasons did combined. However, it's a mighty shame that Google Play cannot upload the new episodes timely. Three episodes so far have not uploaded until several days after they officially aired. I envy the people who will stumble upon this once all episodes air and become uploaded. A paid service should strive to do better than this.

The show is amazing. The three stars are for google play...or adult swim. Any other show that's in progress uploads the next day. This is the second time this has happened. It's been 4 days and episode 7 still isn't up. Please take care of your paying customers. Not everyone is rich (like the owners of google and adult swim). We don't have money to throw away on like this.

I love Samurai Jack and the show itself is awesome, that's the only reason the rating isn't 1 Star. Here's my issue. This show airs at 11pm on Saturdays. Right now it is 2:30pm SUNDAY. There a dozens of DVR released versions of the show available for free both on and off of YouTube. Yet, you still have not seen fit to upload the episode for your paying customers to watch. Question, Adult Swim; why should people bother buying the entire season at all? I know, it's the right thing to do. But here's the problem, piracy is still an unstoppable reality. But you don't make things better by NOT releasing the episodes digitally as they air. I already watched episode 4 of season 5. I'm not afraid to admit that I watched a DVR upload, I purchased my right to view the episode. I just think it's a shame that in 2017, I'm watching a talented studio shoot itself in the foot due to incompetence on the mediums that most people watch the show on these days. I sat there and watched pirated uploads make it onto YouTube by midnight and receive tens of thousands of views before 2am, and I couldn't help but wonder how many of them ALSO bought the episode from Adult Swim and were sick of waiting, as I was. What an incredible waste. I hope someone of consequence reads this, and makes use of it.
