Sanditon

Charlotte arrives in Sanditon for Georgiana's birthday, bringing her fiancé Ralph Starling for inspection. Doctor Fuchs and Rev Hankins squabble over Sir Edward's progress but Lady Denham still won't commit to an allowance.

Charlotte stays in Sanditon to help Georgiana fight for her inheritance and Leo gets her hopes up that she and Colburn will be reunited. Sir Edward seeks Augusta's help in composing a poem and Miss Greenhorn is disappointed at the King's absence.

The Lamb inheritance trial begins, with Lockhart flinging accusations about both her mother and Georgiana herself. Arthur blames himself for introducing Georgiana to Lockhart and Otis also returns to offer his support.

Ralph arrives in Sanditon to collect Charlotte now the trial is over, but she asks to stay for Georgiana's celebratory party. Lady Denham receives a bouquet of thistles and a proposal from Mr Price. Arthur declares his feelings for Harry and is delighted to be invited to a cottage in Wales.

After Augusta and Sir Edward's elopement, carriages are urgently scrambled to retrieve the pair from Falmouth. Mary begs Tom to reconsider his plans for the hotel and Georgiana is surprised when a woman arrives, claiming to be her mother.

Charlotte wants to tell Colbourne the truth about her feelings but a shocking revelation stops her in her tracks. Georgiana's worst fears come true when she realizes she has been abandoned.
