About this show

A thrilling crime drama exploring the personal and professional lives of two female detectives, from award-winning writer Sally Wainwright. Detective Constable Rachel Bailey is 30, down-to-earth, noisy, argumentative and single. Her partner, Detective Constable Janet Scott, is 40, a diplomat and a thinker, as well as being a wife and mother. They both work for Manchester Metropolitan Police's prestigious Murder Investigation Team and, despite the obvious differences between them, they make a formidable team.

The reason I started watching this show was only because it's British and there are a number of familiar actors play in it. The more I watch, the more I become angry with the character Bailey who is so ignorant, rude, low achieved person that no matter how well she knows her job, she MUST NOT be in that syndicate. It contradicts the idea of law and order in any country or society. The actors are brilliant, Gill is the best boss ever but Bailey is annoying, disgusting ( I 100% agree with Scott), and irresponsible.

Every series is fabulous. Character development and growth outstanding. Some of the people are exemplery and some are total jerks, all well played in some of the best of British police drama.

I love this show. It is well written and strong female leads. I'm disappointed that Google Play doesn't provide English subtitles for this show.
