Good ideas but lacking in the execution... the concept was not bad but it's hard to actually like the main character and really care about her transformation. So the comedy goes for gross-out humour (lazy) and there is more than a bit of slut-shaming and judgement of the main character's behaviour... which just doesn't add up with the brave new world of social media. If you start out with a "mean" idea, it comes through and it just leaves you feeling uncomfortable. This type of comedy works well with outrageous caricatures ... or something gentler ... but the characters were not constructed well enough for either. The make-over idea still has legs, but less man-splaining is probably in order...

Ahead of its time, modern take on 'My Fair Lady' Eliza is an unpopular, lonely girl who remakes herself to emulate the most popular girl in school. Years later as an adult, Eliza realizes while she is popular online, she has no real friends. With the help of marketing genius Henry she starts to genuinely connect with people IRL and learns to embrace her true self. I wish there were more episodes.
