A whole new interpretation of Washington Irwings story! I´ve always loved the headless horseman, and was exited about a modern interpretation! The first two seasons were interesting, partly terrifying and packed with hints and clues to the history of the american revolution and to the legend of Sleepy Hollow. The season finals were action packed and took unexpected turns, which was very refreshing (though there were some minor plotholes). Then I watched the third season and I...was disappointed. Without spoiling anything, I need to say that I found the pacing too fast, at times where it should have been slower and emotionally touching, and the other way around (action scenes paced too slowly). However, the thing that disappointed me the most was the main villain in this season. I have to say: I found her pretty bland, boring and your typical ,,Bad Guy´´. The hints of her personality are scattered in the wind. The way she got defeated was pretty cool, but far too easy. The 4th season was a return to quality, drama and action of the first two! All-in-all, I´d recommend it to fans of drama, horror and urban legends. Highly recommended by me, who doesn´t like drama.
