A legend tells it that once in a blue moon, a baby Smurf is delivered to the Smurfs. This time, the Smurfs become attached and when the stork delcares a mistake has been been made, Smurfette and Grouchy protest the baby's removal.

Led by 543-year-old Papa Smurf, their lives would be perfect if not for the villainous Gargamel, a wizard who spends his days trying to capture them to eat or grab enough of them to create a potion to turn matter into gold.
