A legend tells it that once in a blue moon, a baby Smurf is delivered to the Smurfs. This time, the Smurfs become attached and when the stork delcares a mistake has been been made, Smurfette and Grouchy protest the baby's removal.

Standing only three apples tall, the Smurfs live in mushroom houses and take their morning showers with dewdrops. Led by 543-year-old Papa Smurf, their lives would be perfect if not for the villainous Gargamel, a wizard who spends his days trying to capture them to eat or grab enough of them to create a potion to turn matter into gold.
