South of Hell

In Charleston, South Carolina, a city shrouded in darkness, it's hard enough for a young woman like Maria Abascal to shake her personal demons. They cling. Now a stranger has enlisted Maria's help in delivering Charleston from an insidious and mounting evil, and Maria's the only person who can help. For her, that means confronting the past, and the one person who has made her life a living hell.

When David lands in jail, he's less protected than ever from his father's malevolent influence. His predicament also forces his sister Maria to face off against a sadistic judicial adversary whose abused son has fallen victim once again to the forces of evil. And, as Reverend Bledsoe opens his new church to the public, a strange new cult emerges from the most unlikely corners of Charleston.

Maria and Reverend Bledsoe gather evidence against Enos while David falls sway to the mysterious sect, The Society of Sons. They're persuading David to believe that Bledsoe and Enos are actually one and the same, hoping to put David and Maria on opposing sides of a war against evil. But as trust is called into question, a desperate Maria finds an unlikely allegiance.

With David and Grace in danger, Charlotte is enlisted to help them go into hiding. But the discovery of their safe place triggers a series of unexpected repercussions. It forces the devil out of Dean's mother, renders Maria and Abigail powerless, draws an avenging Society of Sons to Bledsoe's doorstep, and brings Maria and Tetra closer to understanding Grace's ultimate role in the coming darkness.

The predatory and lethal female sex demon Dahlia arises out of Abigail's past, laying waste to the weak-willed of Charleston. But even the strong are finding they are defenceless against Dahlia's influence. That includes her old lover, Abigail, and Reverend Bledsoe, a man more vulnerable and conflicted than ever after discovering Grace's unbelievable true nature.

Maria discovers a strange gateway in her childhood home and ventures into its darkness in search of Grace, who has been lured to a terrifying underworld. There, just outside of Hell, lost souls await their fate as Enos's demon army grows in number. When Grace questions the whereabouts of her mother, the answer opens the door to a shocking discovery about the past.

Enos's master plan to recruit a demon army is unveiled as a brainwashed self-help cult. Knowing that it might be the only way to stop him, David, Maria, Grace, and Bledsoe attend the life-changing seminar under the pretence of being new recruits. But once they arrive on Sangalo Island, they discover that Enos's trap may be impossible to escape.

Enos's plans for a hell on earth are about to be realised. But Maria, David, and Grace discover that they possess a combative power more unifying than blood and demons.
