I could not get past the generic elements of this show. Sex, graphic violence, explosions, guns, muscular hunky men, nude women... Standard male driven formula. Pretty exciting for the first ten minutes of the first episode, but I became weary of it afterwards. Made it to the sixth episode then I completely gave up. Do not take my word for it, it is worth a shot, but for me it did not cut it right.

To bad it's a total porno. The story telling relies heavily on showing graphic sexual content including nudity, multiple sex acts with numerous partners and prolonged sex scenes (and that's just the first episode). The show would be better titled "Strike Back... with the Porn Stars.." Watch something else... or better yet read a book :)

This show is actually in season 4 already. Season 1 (Chris Ryan's Strike Back) takes place before the season 1 listed on Google Play. The season 1 on Google play picks up the series at the actual season 2 (Project Dawn). Season 3 (Vengeance) probably matches up with season 2 on Google play and the newest season (Shadow Warfare) is not on Google Play. Season five is coming soon: "On Monday, October 28th 2013, Cinemax and Sky commissioned a fifth and final series, to be broadcast sometime in Summer 2014. It will feature 10 episodes, with filming expected to take place in Europe and Asia."
