The man behind some of the worst terrorist attacks on the west escapes during a prison break masterminded by his British wife, and Col Adeena Donovan needs the situation cleared up quickly and decides to reinstate the disbanded Section 20. The all-new members of the unit set out on a life-or-death mission that will take them across the Middle East and Europe, and plunge them into the paths of Saudi princes and Russian FSB agents.

Just as Mac's revenge looks in reach, the team are sent on a life or death mission to extract a devious arms dealer from war-torn Libya.

As Jane Lowry surfaces in Budapest, Mac and Wyatt head undercover. Their mission? To infiltrate a dangerous group of white supremacists.

Things aren't looking good for Mac. He's blown his cover and is now facing certain death. Donovan digs into Zarin's past... and she doesn't like what she learns.

Section 20 track down Maya, a local Muslim woman Lowry radicalised, to a local airport. In the meantime, Yuri finds the team and attempts to kill Reynolds. Jensen traces the gas' radiation background and learns that Markov's lab is in Pripyat, Ukraine.

Following the news of Idrisi's survival, Lowry tracks down Johann Krieger, CEO of the private military company Octagon in Germany for her husband's location. To beat Lowry to the chase, Section 20 seek the help of her daughter Lyla, who refuses to cooperate.

As Lowry makes her play to rescue Idrisi from the Col. Parker's black site, Section 20 races to get him first. Jensen stoically recovers from his wounds. Reynolds continues to believe Donovan is hiding something important to the mission.

The team learns about Colonel Donovan's involvement in Project Tenebrae. Waves of PMC soldiers trying to recapture Idrisi have a running, driving, and shooting battle with Section 20. Donovan and Lowry have another face to face encounter.

Section 20 race the clock to stop the chemical attack, but Reynolds is forced to make a life-defining decision as the team closes in on the target.
