This show was amazing, literally up until you reach the end of season 5. After that, it honestly hit free fall mode. It's really challenging to explain it. Dean, remains Rock solid throughout the entirety of the show; that's not to be taken as a knock on Sam, but they really seemed to have lost direction with both he and the show following that particular season. Either way, there's far worse shows out there, so giving this one a little time, couldn't/wouldn't hurt too much.

love the first five seasons, the plot after seasons 1-5 defintely starts to deteriorate. at that point i was mostly watching the show in hopes i'd get even a slither of lgbtq representation but they could barely deliver that in a way that didn't feel like a hate crime. also not to mention the lack of poc and women characters in the show. apparently they're making a spinoff, hopefully they can learn from their mistakes and the cast won't primarily be white cishet men.

Two boring straight white boys, and then, later, another straight white boy who squints twice as much as the first two (an impressive feat, rest assured). Manpain. More manpain. Pretend morals. Plot holes galore. Lack of continuity. You will love it, and then the mere sight of it will make you feel as though you just drank a nice tall glass of warm curdled milk. Save yourself, don't watch it.
