About this show

In the near future, a Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online has been released where players control their avatars with their bodies using a piece of technology called: Nerve Gear. One day, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in the game, they die in real life. Their struggle for survival starts now...

This is a 3 star purely because of one reason, the entire first season is split into 4. It's pretty clear they did this to pull more money out of us. The show itself however is perfect.

SAO is Greatest Anime. Kirito X Asuna are my favorite couple and characters ever, i have Kirito and Asuna figure from figma, i have 5 SAO item i buy, i have pictures that i download, and i making look like SAO and Kirito and Asuna.

Love this anime. Great plot, relatable characters, and stunning imagery. Fantastic anime to binge all summer long.
