Reyka becomes convinced that the murders are the work of a potential serial killer and later stakes out a suspect. Meanwhile, Speelman asks Reyka to retract her parole statement in exchange for secret information on Lucy.

While trying to save a traditional healer's life, Reyka's own life is saved by a mysterious hooded man. The healer's employers, the Tyrone family, soon find themselves pulled into the case with tensions arising within the household.

Starring Kim Engelbrecht and Iain Glen, 'The Cane Field Killings' is a thrilling drama which follows a flawed but brilliant criminal profiler who returns to her hometown to solve a string of brutal murders committed by a serial killer amongst the sugarcane fields of Kwa-Zulu-Natal.
