Love this show, they're doing a pretty great version of the books. I think my challenges are with the choices of actors, who are clearly good actors, but wrong for the parts. There's supposed to be a very large muscular imposing man being played by a very short man. There's some racial stuff in there as well, the cast of the show seem much more white than the book led me to believe they were. Whatever, I still really like the show, I just wish they'd taken into account what was originally written.

I have only watched the first 6 episodes, and I have read, and really enjoyed all the books. Some of the episodes are great, but episode 6 was a mess. If you hadn't read the books I think it would barely make any sense. Maybe they will establish key relationships and characters properly in future episodes but so far this series is going a bit off the rails.

Not only my favorite sci-fi show ever, my favorite show of any genre ever. It took me about 3 episodes to get into it, and 2 seasons to become a dedicated fan, but now I have read all the books, seen every episode 2-3 times, dressed up as Miller and Julie with my gf for Halloween, have a 3d printed Rocinante on my bookshelf, and tell everyone I know to watch it. Must watch, better than GOT in my opinion. Even my gf who is not usually a sci-fi fan loves it.
