Love this show, they're doing a pretty great version of the books. I think my challenges are with the choices of actors, who are clearly good actors, but wrong for the parts. There's supposed to be a very large muscular imposing man being played by a very short man. There's some racial stuff in there as well, the cast of the show seem much more white than the book led me to believe they were. Whatever, I still really like the show, I just wish they'd taken into account what was originally written.

I have only watched the first 6 episodes, and I have read, and really enjoyed all the books. Some of the episodes are great, but episode 6 was a mess. If you hadn't read the books I think it would barely make any sense. Maybe they will establish key relationships and characters properly in future episodes but so far this series is going a bit off the rails.

Show started off awesome, but gets a little cheesy by the seventh episode. It's hard to understand everyone's sudden faith and trust in their new captain as they set out in episode 7; they all thought was a douche only a few episodes ago. Let's hope they pull the character depth and believability back together as the series progresses.
