The Missing

Tony and Emily Hughes' life changes forever when their 5 year-old son Oliver goes missing on a family holiday to France. A huge manhunt led by Julien Baptiste, one of France's finest detectives, is launched.

Three days since Oliver's disappearance. With little information to go on, suspicion immediately falls on a known paedophile living in the area.

The investigation into Oliver's disappearance continues. Tony can't let go of his suspicions about the released paedophile suspect and is frustrated by the police's decision to release him.

The case is thrown into disarray when a key witness is found murdered. Tony is horrified as he begins to realise that his generous benefactor, Ian Garrett, isn't the person he claimed to be.

Tony and Emily's pleas to investigate the paedophile suspect again fall on deaf ears. Tony decides to take matters into his own hands and has a violent confrontation with life-changing consequences.

Tony desperately tries to cover his tracks as he deals with the consequences of his actions. With her world collapsing around her and no real breakthrough in finding Oliver, Emily finally breaks down. Things take a turn for the worse for Julien when an unprovoked attack puts him in life-threatening danger.

The case takes an unexpected turn when another young boy goes missing in Chalons Du Bois. Tony, Emily and Mark return to the French town in the hope that this might shed light on what happened to Oliver.

New evidence brings Tony, Emily, Julien and Mark ever closer to finding out the truth behind Oliver's disappearance.
