The characters are where this works best. It's not bad, but parts come off a little contrived and there's enough jingoism that it's occasionally totally alienating to a foreign audience.

Well done. Have seen nearly all the series down 2 no. 7. Very impressed with all the acting & support teams. If I had an opportunity, I would buy it if it was available. Thank you 4 providing excellent entertainment.

Similarities to the west wing thru Sorkin. I loved it. Jeff Daniels is brilliant as is Emily Mortimer and Sam Waterman. The younger actors also develop nicely. Some episodes take a few viewings to pick up all the details and nuances.
