I have worked in a office for year and rarely a week goes by without some Office reference to lighten the mood. At home, both series have been watched by my family many times and it is always hilarious. Strangely, my wife hates it and generally it seems to be less enjoyed by women, it seems - although my daughters love it as much as I do. The series 1 & 2 were masterpieces and would have four stars if the xmas specials were included.

Anything that makes you cringe and laugh at the same time is money well spent. Actually I spend more time looking at the cast than I do Brent. Now they are the ones who really can make you laugh and feel better.

Gervais is brilliant if 1 likes his style. However, it is of an acquired taste, and if you don't like Gervais, you don't like the show. It's that simple, because there is no one else to turn to, No one else look really care about, unlike the US version, which after a few episodes, you have an emotional attachment to each character, and by season 2 of the US version, Carell becomes a lot more likeable.
