The Simple Life

Paris and Nicole are hired to work at a dairy farm operated by Albert’s no-nonsense friend, but after tiring of the hard work and smell, they head for a nearby hot tub… and end up getting fired; later the girls and some of Justin’s friends attend a barbecue, which Paris and Nicole abandon after realizing they’ve got nothing in common with the guys who show up.

Paris and Nicole are hired to work at a fast-food restaurant, but they’re bored and frustrated by the demands of the job, and soon rebel by pulling pranks during each of their assignments; when the Ledings reprimand them, the girls just go out dancing.

Paris and Nicole agree to be honorary co-chairs of the Springtime Gala, but instead of working at the gala, they engage in their usual shocking behavior; the Ledings are embarrassed, and everyone in town is gossiping about Paris and Nicole.

The girls go to work for a cattle auctioneer, but when they’re sent to buy cattle feed, they charge several other items without permission; the auctioneer comes after them for the money, and the girl try to lie their way out of the debt.

Paris and Nicole finally get a job they enjoy: working at a gas station, where there are plenty of guys to flirt with; but a confrontation erupts when Albert and Janet tell the girls to stay away from the small town boys, and the girls disobey them.

Outtakes from previous shows include footage of Paris and Nicole dealing with homesickness; retreating to the cellar when a tornado appears; and working for a taxidermist; all with their usual professionalism.

Paris and Nicole reminisce about their month in Altus, make amends, and say goodbye to the people they’ve come to know before returning to Los Angeles.
